It's funny because even though I almost always never end up making these cakes, cupcakes, cookies etc. I always watch your videos. I just really enjoy watching you make them and then seeing the end product because they always come out beautifully. But yeah, I'm sure I'm not the only one who watches cooking videos but never ends up making them, I just find it pretty funny that I do that. But yeah, all these videos do is just make me really freaking hungry and extremely freaking jealous that I could never make my cakes to come out looking as beautiful as yours. But anyway, I just wanted to thank you again for making these videos and putting in sooooooo much time and effort to make them. I'm sure it costs a decent amount of money to do as well. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making these for us and your steps are so easy that literally just about anybody could do it and I just really appreciate that about you and your videos. Ann, you're awesome.

Wow Ann, this truly was a magnificent and beautiful cake. Thank you for sharing exactly how you made this cake. Hi Gify, you'll need to leave it in the oven longer. To check if it is done insert a knife into the centre if it comes out clean it's ready, if not put it back in the oven.

wash metal rod in dishwasher or use small dish brush with dish soap & hot water to clean it. it's just like any other metal implement used to cook/eat (knives, forks, kebab skewers, etc). very safe.

switchinblades I wonder if you can do this with Rice Krispies and use frosting to somehow make it smooth. This would only work for the pieces that are completely fondant

Hi Ann! I've been wondering for a while why you cut the cake in three and frost between the layers. At first, I thought it was for the structural integrity of the cake (so it doesn't tip/fall over), but that seems unlikely. Is it a personal preference, or is there a baking reason for doing that? Thanks a LOT!!!

Usually it's done so the cake doesn't get dry! Also for flavor and texture reasons (in this case she even added chocolate bars for crunchiness). Imagine a slice that big of just plain dry cake! Brownies on the other hand are already very rich and moist, therefore they don't require frosting or filling!
