Turns out they are recordings of acting exercises. A guy named Ted Saronto hosted not only classes for aspiring actors, but also for people who wanted to improve their public speaking and help with social anxiety. Learning to speak in front of people with confidence and all that. I was curious about where they came from myself, so I looked it up and found a good video that explains it all in detail.
