And perhaps Mabel destroyed something valuable to the Pines family, similar to Stanly, sacrificing Dipper's possible dream school/job(think paranormal investigator) and winds up getting Mabel kicked out of the house till she made it up, and Mabel changed her name to Kristenand beginning a life of regret... Until she struck gold... Entertainment gold! Beginning her new job as an actress, she wrote about her childhood to preserve those memories...
