Ye i lost 2 bodies due to glitching out on my end, but my squad mate could see it. Im sick of it, im not gonna play the game until they fix it. I have high hopes for the game, but they need to resolve the major issues fast

@@jondoe3966 you can also just close the game via task manager and if you join a new session, the game tries to get you into the old one, you also spawn in base camp, if you however land back to the server you disconnected you will end up at the place you end the game.
Like others here have said...so far haven't had a system crash, only server disconnects, however the servers have been a bit sketchy the past nites, hope Madfinger can get this as well optimization and system crashes resolved sooner than later because I feel the game has potential.
I have lost supporter level and regular gear in multiple server errors and crashes. Yes, its frustrating, but once you acknowledge that it is in Early Access, you will get your edition rewards back on a server wipe, you will find more gear/better and you have the money to recover, and once you choose not to let losing gear bother you, its all good. Frustrating, but good.
One session yesterday with a friend lasted several hours with few issues (maybe one disconnect each, no lost equipment due to that), lots of fun. Today I tried a dozen times on servers in four regions and had constant server disconnects. Lost equipment and task progress. The server was dropping the connection before I could even reach an LZ or leave the base, some times even before it had finished connecting. No issues with any other always on / live service games, there is definitely something up with Gray Zone Warfare netcode and you can definitely lose equipment after a server disconnect, or even get back equipment you had used or discarded.
Thanks for saying it lol. I understand them too tho, once I died and couldn't find my body, very upseting. Then I remembered the 200k I never touched in base. I think complaining is the new meta anyway ^^
I was able to play without issue for the first few days but now I can barely get out of base camp without crashing. Lost most of my money and gear, so will probably just wait now until I hear the game is working properly
whats the problem? the 80% waiting for a helicopter to be available to call in? the 10% waiting for the helicopter to take you to your LZ or the 10% of severly medicore terrible bulletsponge gameplay...
Lorewise it would not make too much sense, I think a alternative that may work better is that have a scav or two spawn nearby the LZ if a camper sits there for about 5 to 10 minutes plus and hunts down the camper (with decent aim). Of course though this has it's flaws but it would make more sense than radioactive LZs as in real life that would likely not be one if it was radioactive.
I had an issue where my account simply disappeared every day but my "name" I chose was then taken by the ghosted account. Had to restart all progression and create a new character about 4 times but as of the last 3 days I haven't had any more issues. It is not without its issues but I think the game is incredible for how far along it actually is in it's progression.
I hope the game becomes more optimized for 3000 series cards. I know my card is like 3-4years old at this point but I just wanna get a little use out of my card before I upgrade again 😭
Scenario -> If you crash while you are in Operation Area but the server didn't crash = your character still exist in the Operation Area and AI can still kill you -> If you crashed while you are in the Operation Area and somehow your data wasn't saved in the server = your recent progression on quest is reset and your item is reset -> if server crashed = your progression is saved before the crash and you will be spawned at base
the first one isnt totally wrong but also not right. If you disconnect from a server via a crash or the application just ends (task manager) your body will be there for 10 sec and disappears, when you load back into a different server you end up with all your gear in base camp, if you rejoin the same server you will end up with all your gear were you left.
The lz camping is ridiculous. It’s almost every time I hit an lz I get camped as a solo trying to complete tasks it’s discouraging, can’t see them because there’s million bushes around at all times.
land at the next lz closest to it that isn’t directly next to where you wanna go - you’ll have to walk a lil but I promise you’ll start catching players slippin thinking they’re alone
The game atm in EA is supposedly only 20-30% of content...they will be adding major features within 6 months (one being day/nite cycle) and then weather effects as well as other missions and POI's
So I'm confused why everyone assumes the guy at the lz that kills you is strictly lz camping. What makes you so sure they're not just waiting for their chopper?
This. IMHO. You need to be able to get a heli pick up "anywhere". The devs need to get the map worked out so it knows where helos can drop without running into things. That way people can fly in a distance out in a random spot and run in
I agree with that plus you hear them comming in so you push over to it, ushually takes awhile to push in from lz, so i end up close to an lz a bit trying to push in
another thing i dont like about this game is how barely animated the characters are...like why would you hold your rifle like that in a helicopter?...or when walking or running...its just too rigid for my liking. At least look at COD copy COD on how animated the characters are
No copying of cod would be dumb af. Yes there's gonna be an animation rework. No it won't be like cod. The way they hold the rifle while running is how you hold a rifle when running. They have their weapons outboard on the chopper to engage targets.... what's wrong with that? Yes things should be smoothed out but it sounds more like you don't know irl techniques... like the high ready.
@@drewbienewbie03xx81 naah i beg to differ, i dont know any operators that hold their rifles like that when patrolling or in a heli, the only time your rifle should be pointed is when you're about to engage or when you're actually engaging targets
Ive inly ever had server crashes never had a game crash. My buddy has had game crashes, but it was due to his system not being up to snuff, so he has to get the best settings to get the game to run good.
I haven't confirmed this, but I've heard that if you get stuck like that, you can put your PC into sleep mode instead of ALT+F4 and it should spawn you back at base with no gear lost
did they do something about friendlies ganking you? That's the main reason why I haven't tried pvp yet, just been playing pve with a couple buddies. Well that and exfil camping, and terrible server performance
Use mic and minimap. Havent been tk´d yet. For server, when you play at your timezone peak hours, go to different continent server which is sleeping when you are playing. I from East EU but use East Coast US Servers when playing at EU peak hours, fixes rubber banding 99%.
