It has been confirmed that developers are hard at work updating the engine of the game to version 5.4, which should significantly boost performance of the game. Unreal Engine 5.4 is offering big CPU performance boost. They are also working on many other features and improvements in the first major update. have the same build, but temps around 86-88. turned on DLSS today, got better numbers (70-75) This game feels like it’s going to blow my pc up some days 😭
I do have occasional temperature spikes on my CPU to lower 80°C while flying. It's interesting, because not even rendering this video in Vegas Pro was not able to push temperature above 77.7°C, and CPU usage was way higher obviously.
Hey, I tested it, but FSR Quality offers about the same performance as DLSS Quality, but I cannot test FSR's Frame Generation because it simply does not work on my rig. It's doing nothing.
Without FG whether from FSR or Nvdia these frames are not enough for Tiger Bay. IT WILL dip below 60 and probably hover under 60 there especially at 2k res. At 1080p, it's much smoother but who games at 1080p when your already at 2k.
I’ve lowered the resolution to 1600x12 something , max frame limit is at 60. Everything on low FSR Native AA Nvida on+boost and ai generations on. I’ve got it to run pretty stable at 60 fps with frames dropping to 17-30. Im pretty upset I went out and bought a new computer with all the bells and whistles but I can’t seem to play this one game but my friend with a potato computer can run it fine.
hey, I've seen many people complain about 4070 crashing. Can you printscreen me your display settings? it might be a problem there, but I feel like the game has problem with 4070.
Hey @cjerp is your testing in this exact locations? Because game is really unequal and some areas are way more demanding than others. I picked this street, because I've found it as one of the most heavy areas in the game. To my bottleneck: you can see my GPU usage is way above 90% while CPU is hovering around 50% of usage. So no, bottleneck is not an issue in this scenario at 1440p@Epic settings. Higher frequency might help, because it's only 4050Mhz CPU, but not by much, usage of all cores is about the same around 50%. I've seen some tests with much faster CPU's (7800X3D or i5 14600KF) than mine, and in the end it's pretty much the same. It's very much possible your CPU is running at higher frequency, and that together with about 10% faster GPU than mine might give you that difference.
Hello @danielmolyneaux6810 That's very hard to believe you run at 120FPS with 4070, because I've seen zWORMz Gaming testing RTX 4070 paired with 7800x3D he happened to be running on the same place as me, and he got around 100. you no need post processing on epic...... is simply low not have effect on game. too texture resolution too ussseless.... there can be medium..... all others is okay, i have rtx 4070 basic and amd ryzen 5 7600x and i have same fps as you :) sure in 2k resolution
