Last summer, Pontus went up to Northern Finland together with Daniel Bergman and Aki Huhtanen to film a FLY TV episode (Grayling Land). The fishing was great and the last day, before the helicopter was going to pick them up, they decided to give it one last shot and this time, Pontus would fish too...

As you might notice there are no subtitles on this video yet, it was finished one hour before release so our dear subtitlers had no time for it 😅 We’re a bit exhausted after June and have lots of filmings and stuff but we’ll do our best to post three videos per week anyhow. Jak zauważyliście w tym filmie nie ma jeszcze napisów, został on ukończony godzinę przed premierą, więc chłopaki od napisów nie mieli na to czasu. Jesteśmy wykończeni po czerwcu i mamy przed sobą mnóstwo kręcenia i roboty, ale zrobimy co w waszej mocy, aby wrzucać 3 filmy tygodniowo. Mam nadzieję, że ten się spodoba / Pontus Polskie napisy powinny być jutro koło południa / Ja :)

I am watching from Michigan, USA. We no longer have grayling in our state but we are starting a "Grayling Restoration Program" in our trout streams, so hopefully one day.

I've only caught 2 grayling, 1 1.4kg other 2.0kg on ultra rod rod with spinners. Never tried fly fishing but just bought myself a jerk bait set and cant wait too try it out! Great channel!

Would love to catch Grayling there. They are a beautiful fish. From California USA. Lived in Alaska while in the Army and caught many Grayling on flies, none this big.

I have a pretty fun story: we went on a trip to lapland with our family friends and no one knew how and where to really fish there so we just threw spinners in to this pretty shallow creek and we got nothing. Then I put a fly on my spinning reel that my little brother found under a couch at the cabin. I just kept it there in the water about 1.5 meters away from me for like an hour and then suddenly I saw a little splash on the fly and it was a big grayling. I was so so excited to catch it. (Btw I highly recommend a lapland trip in the fall its beautiful out there when the leafs change colors.)

Personal best grayling is 63cm hung on just like a pike without fighting, i was really surprised when it turned out to be a grayling :D

When you measure your grayling do you let the tail rest naturally, or do you do it more similar to your pike measuring where you push the fork back a bit and look for the longest point on the tail?

@@clutchii1393 Ja jo, samma här, men jag tycker att det är konstigt att dom bara får harr i sjön och ingen öring. Jag har fiskat en del i en fjällsjö där det bara finns öring och lake, ingen harr.
