I really like the ideas of alternate realities in superhero universes, it spices things up and puts out endless possibilities into the works on what can or could happen to a certain character.
A fantastic vision of fan loved Nightwing. Out of all the fan films and shorts out there, yours set the tone effortlessly, is very well acted and feels serious and real while still keeping the spirit of the Dark Knight. Your Nightwing film is the best of all the others I have come across so far.
I found out about this on IMDB today and see it was suppose to be a 6 part mini series. Its a shame its only 2 episodes. Yall should do a kickstarter to do the last 4 episodes. Id support it thats for sure. Well going watch it now.
I finally found it again!!! I've been trying to find this for YEARS- literally! I could have just searched "Nightwing fan film" and found it. I'll remember it next time:) I love this- the FEEL of it more than anything else- I hope and pray they continue making these:)
Ella Morring same I saw this a while ago and wanted to rewatch it so i searched up nightwing fan film or nightwing in real life and i just remembered that its called Grayson
Wow, what a ride! This is amazing! Doesn't stick to Dick's origin, but I like it just the same. Barbara can totally kick butt with Dick, and Freeze is a really creepy but powerful villain. Also, Batman makes an appearance! Everything you want in a Batman video and more! My only complaint is the leather. It's loud and I'm sure it is hard to move around in. But other than that, this was well directed, acted, and produced. Well done!
awesome, i love how it looks like he's not especially a trained fighter but experienced, like a few judo(ish) throws and wrestling take downs but the fact he's swinging wide is where he's unrefined on so yeah very realistic and i think that's good attention to detail also love the half a call back to the 1989 batman movie "what are you" lol i cant wait to see more keep up the epic work
Man the acting, story, and music are fantastic! It feels so real! Grade A work man. By the way, what's the name of the song Grayson plays at the beginning of the episode?
Saw this about a year ago and never bothered to leave a comment because I was so determined to share it with all my friends. But what I'd like to say is how well done this was and how I think you and your team did a great job.
Holy shit - I haven't been this stirred by a movie since when I first saw The Crow. It's 8 years too late; I feel awful I can't contribute to the continuation of this... Kudos to cast and crew will have to suffice. Blessed be all!
I wonder if we find out that Barbara and Batman were working together in episode 2. Maybe she used herself as bait to find Friese's hideout. It seemed like she was going to help Grayson for a second, then decided not to because she knew he could handle himself. This is very well done(second comment in two days, lol). I can't believe it doesn't have at least 1 million views already.
This is fantastic. The camera, the script hell even the actors could actually act! The best thing probably is that you reinvent and this gives you more freedom than over Nightwing Projects had/have. I have never seen such a badass Barbara before and Dick’s new flare is something I really came to like in these few minutes. The Batman... don't know just yet what to think about him. He didn't seem right. Hope there will be more of this in the future. Will there be a new donation campaign in the future?
SuperFliegenklatsche Sure will be a indiegogo!! Awesome!!! Youll like the new episode. Check out episode 1.5 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-t360P-dq8UM.html
Hey, first off, loved the episode. As a batman fan, I always enjoy a different take on the Batman Mythos, as long as it stays true to certain things, which I feel you have done in the first video, The actors playing Richard Grayson and Barbra Gordon are great. really appreciate well written well caste shows (also love the addition of Carrie Kelley seeing as she is from the Frank Miller comic and not originally in the continuity). I do have one thing as, issue, so to speak, that I would like to bring up. Please take this at what is is, and know that it doesn't change my enjoyment of the series over all (I have subscribed). The Music/background noise/on talking noise, at times seamed a bit louder than it should have been. It made it hard to hear what people were saying, specifically during the fight scene. Just a small observation. Also, I am interested to find the background origin that Richard Grayson has. It is clear that both Carrie Kelley and the girl who seams to own/bar tend the club they are at know Richards past and training. Was he still originally part of the Circus, or is there something else? Obviously the parental situation (his parents being murdered in front of him) has still happened seeing as that is what has always driven his moral need to protect people. I am curious to see who he has been raised by as well-I am guessing that Bruce Wayne did not adopt him because had he, Richard would have know what/who that creature that just showed up (aka Batman) was. Keep up the good work. Look forward to the next episode.
..How did Bird Boy not know who Batsy was?.. He said "What are you?" Or somethin' like that.. I'm a bit confused on that part. Besides that AMAZING JOB! Can someone tell me the name of the song used in the fight scene?
Not digging the heavy metal, super obvious voice dubbing, leather rubbing noises and cheesy footsteps sounds, but I'm hopeful for this series. Pretty darn good for a low budget production.
Not too fond of the Grayson back story on this one. The edginess is legit! But the tattoos and nail polish looks really cheesy. Almost like the Crow. The smoking and hardass attitude are pretty cool. Not the traditional clean cut Grayson, but not too far from the comic version
I gotta say, this is the most professional fan film I've seen in a long time! The acting was great, and that's the first thing that makes or breaks a good fan film. Bravo people! I wish this was on network tv!
This is fantastic. The kind of production quality and acting I would expect (yet don't always get) from a fully funded network tv show. I love the concept and writing and I'm excited for the next episodes to come out.
Nicely done. Thank you. I'm a big fan of Nightwing. Although the show does not follow DC history of him, it is way ,way better than some of other Nightwing/Robin clips shown in RU-vid. Hope you are able to continue to make a movie or series out of it. Thank you again.
Also, this is not a big deal, but it was weird when Dick Grayson takes the gun from the mobster without any effort at all and the guy just stands there, not shocked or afraid at all. It's just weird. This isn't the best explanation, but if you watch it you will see what I mean.
Thanks! I thought he'd be good for the part. I tried to use the shakiness to heighten the moment. Thx for watching my friend and thanks for the advice.
Im an avid collector of batman comics i have quite a large collection and have it insured due to some of the rarity. I just want to say that i think this is one of the best fan made series I've ever seen and am eager to watch the next one, i just hope its longer.
I've never seen so well made a fan...anything. I don't know how to impress upon you just how great, professional, nicely acted, and just clearly thought out I found this. You all did an amazing job.
Holy Shit! I cannot believe I hadn't heard of this before now. Everything is so well executed. Much better than a slew of shows on CW at the moment. I hope they revive this, would be brilliant to see how it plays out.
