While the Summit is most known for its action-packed activities, there are plenty of other projects on-site that make it unique. This video features one of those projects, the showerhouses.
Trinity Works is currently working to construct a series of permanent showerhouses on site, that will make rinsing off a green experience.
For starters, the buildings are made entirely of locally cute and milled hemlock. This means, when a tree is cut to make room for construction, there is a good chances it is recycled into a structure down the road.
Another interesting feature, the showerhouses will use a graywater system which captures and treats used sink water and then recycles it to flush toilets and urinals.
