Norway uses the yellow stripes on the road, and if i remember correctly it is partly because it is easier to see in the winter and under dirt. Sweden uses the colours of their flag for many of their signs, as does Denmark.

Yeah, such stuff as road markings, lights, high voltage pilons styles, even bus stop placement habits and railway platform styles changes across the whole Europe, including western, where difference can be spoted even when moving from city to city. And that is pretty awesome, as it makes to think why it differs.

There was a funny moment when you found you forgot to start the journey on the mobile. When You talked about making the one day trip I was thinking you can't do that in Budapest, because there's a lot to see, but you're welcome to come.

Sweden does not have yellow road markings, our is white aswell. Temporary lines and markings, like if there are a road work, are yellow though. And our warning signs are orange. If you see a orientation sign that is orange, it means that the road not are maintained by the goverment. Blue is the standard background colour on a orientation sign. Motorway signs are green in Sweden.

Here in the Philippines, there is a driver and a conductor in all buses, city bus, coach bus, provincial bus, they all have a conductor. The driver drives, while the conductor sold the tickets, the conductor also helps the passengers to pick up their baggage. If passengers already reserved the tickets, they will just show their tickets to the conductor and then pay. Of course, they will only allow the reserve of tickets when there are many passengers like summer, Christmas, new year, and many more holidays where there are many commuters. The conductor is also the one who collects the money, of course when that passenger/s will be still buying tickets to the conductor of the bus. The driver, well, he just drives, of course, fuels up the bus and will also help the conductor when there are many items of baggage so it will be a faster trip. In provincial buses, it is like a coach bus but there will be no comfort rooms inside, or anything coach buses have. It like this, they will pick up the passenger in the terminal, stop at stop-overs where passengers can buy foods, eat and pee or poo. They can also drop off the passenger when the passenger needs to stop already and leave the bus. Coach buses have comfort rooms and foods inside the bus, where there are no stopovers and it is express, you cannot just leave the bus if you already need to stop there. There is a designated area where you can leave and ride the bus. Our coach buses can only ride for online reservations, you cannot just ride when there is a coach bus there, except you reserved yourself. It also cost a lot. City buses are like ordinary fares, some are air-conditioned, they're smaller than the other bus and cheap, it is like the provincial bus but only goes around the city. I forgot to said that provincial buses go from city to province vice versa

In Germany there's no sign that tells you that 50 km/h is allowed when you enter a city or town. The yellow square signs with the name of the city on it do. At 31:02 you see them telling you you're entering Wien. That means it's 50 km/h from now on, until you see those signs again with a red line through it ---> telling you you're leaving the city. I think more European countries use this kind of system? At least in the Netherlands it is the same --> blue signs.

Depends on the highway, but some of the bigger highways have been converted to electronic signs, especially in popular areas. Standard road signs exist, but electric overhead signs are used as warnings or to modify speed limits if there is traffic or something in an effort to ease people into the lower speed.

Oh, it's two years ago. Anyway, a yellow centerline in Sweden and Norway means, that there is oncoming traffic on the left side. It's not a one way road ;-) Otherwise the center lines are white on highways or on multi lane city streets where the traffic goes in your way in the other lanes too. I guess, on some lonely country roads one might forget if the other lane is for oncoming traffic or not and you want to overtake someone... But I don't know the reason, I'm just guessing ;-) When the speed limit went from 100 to 50 without a sign, it was because you entered a city (Vienna in this case). 100 is default in Austria and Germany on rural roads and the city signs are relatively - relatively - big, have a white background, a thin blue border and the name of the city in black on it (in Germany it's a small yellow sign with the city name on it. When you are not use to it, you might overlook it). I think, the city sign was too small in this simulation, but who cares ;-) On rural roads without a speed limit, the default limit is 100 and in cities the default speed limit is 50. That's where the change around minute 30:00 from 100 to 50 came from. And by the way, in Austria the green light flashes 3 times before it goes yellow and then red. In Germany it's without flashing - as in the simulator. So that detail was not correct, but well... ;-)

Oh yes the Setra has the same gearbox of the Skyliner, but it works differently. The Neoplan's is more faster when it has to change gear, the Setra takes a few time before it change the gear. The same thing happens in real life ;) . If you try a Neoplan and a Setra (or instead of this one VDL, VanHool, etc, or simply a truck with a semiautomatic gearbox) you will notice this. In fact what you have to do (irl)? When you arrive at a roundabout you put the gearbox in manual mode, and you select the correct gear. If you don't want to use this kind of method, you can modulate your brake phase, in order to permit the gearbox to shift in time and also slow down the bus, so you can do your roundabout easily. On the other hand, if you arrive at a roundabout at incredible high speed and you just brake, you risk to rest on the roundabout, and I don't know how is it funny. :D kek Btw, your videos are fantastic, good job!

Now it's been a couple years since I drove these Setra/Mercedes buses, but I'm 99% certain that's not how the suspension works, at least not on the real ones, usually they have a set ride height, you can lower or highten the bus in slow speeds, for severe potholes or speedbumps or anything else for example in a city, but as soon as you start going faster the bus automatically changes the height to what's the most appropriate for driving, because if it's too low in high speeds it will be extremely bumpy since you have no air in the cushions, too high and it can be unstable and dangerous to drive. That's at least how it works in Scania, MAN, Volvo, Iveco etc. The AC in these buses is seperately set for you and the passengers, the left part is for you and the right side is for the passengers, you can see there's a depiction of one person with a wheel (left side, yours) and one with 3 people (right side, as in the passengers), so for the passengers you need to use the buttons up and down to set temperature and/or fan speed, so you first press fan to change it with the arrows or select temperature to change that. Passengers get automatic climate control and you set yours yourself (from experience, this is a godsend in the summer when the sun is baking you in the front windshield and the passengers are mostly in shade, getting cold from the AC :P ) Can't guarantee that's how it works in the sim though! Edit: Oh and these buses are super slow in city traffic, they aren't "true automatic" like most automatic cars, CVT transmission I think they're called, but have real gears and clutch which the computer operates basically, which makes them super slow starting out and changing gears. Great for cruising down the highway but in the city they are horrible.

hi again, a lot of buses cant move when the suspension lowered to the 'kerb height' this is normally the case on modern buses as when they are set the the kerb height or in the kneeling position, it is to enable passengers with mobility problems easier access to the bus/coach. not all coaches are like that as some have a fold out lift instead. i think it is safety feature in case a driver gets off to assist an infirm passenger and forget to apply the park brake so prevents the vehicle rolling away when the driver has left the cockpit. i dont know how realistic the game is yet as i have still not got round to purchasing it yet. usually, most buses in my experience automatically rises to the standard height when the power is turned on. the standard height is suitable for most roads. i am actually down your neck of the woods. i am camped out in an Foden Alpha 3000 wrecker truck parked up for the night in birchanger services off the M11/A120. going down into Purfleet in the morning to pick up a Volvo B12M from Ensign bus that the group has recently acquired with a gearbox failure. i have a gopro with me and will be recording the hooking up proceedure and part of the transport back up to teesside

Hey Squirrel, just want to point something out. I saw your Train Sim video of Semmering Railway last year. The Semmering Pass is located between Vienna and Graz, and is exactly as in the Simulator, albeit graphically richer and breathtaking. I had the opportunity to take the Railjets to and from those two cities, cos I had an interview near Graz. The closed road in this scenario is part of the Autobahn A2 that connects Vienna and Graz. However, the route the Sim made you take here is the Semmering Highway S6. Just wanted you to know, you might find it interesting. :)
