is there any noise coming from the spinning of the cd? or does the cover reduce that?

Does your player plays the first two seconds of the track when it's skipped to? Because mine doesn't. And if you have the CD with tracks, combined by seamless transition, check it too. I was pretty disappointed when it added a gap between the tracks where it shouldn't be.

not sure about the types of CDs but i’m sure you can play any CD with music on this player
