I know what you mean. But don’t feel uneasy. In fact, because nothing lasts forever you shouldn’t waste one second of your time feeling uneasy. Live your life to the fullest. One thing this should tell you about life is that everything has its own time. There is a time for you to be a kid. A time for you to be a teenager. A time for you to be an adult and a time for you to be an elder. So be happy! Live your life and love with all your heart. You won’t be young forever! Also remember life does not end on this earth. There is much more to us than what you see on this earth.
Then don’t side by side yourself after 30 years. I think time makes us so much better. Maybe not on the outside. I love my 49 year old self as opposed to my 19 year old self. I’m much happier and grateful for all of my blessings. Please know I’m not trying to be mean. Youth is beautiful. So is life!
I remember so vividly watching Grease in the cinema back in October 1978., with Frankie Valli singing "Grease Is The Word". 41 years just flew by, like a breath of air. Life is short, live it before it's too late.
The music is really haunting, and it added to my sadness. I was 10 so now I'm 52 and even if I'm "fresh faced" for my age I can't recognize myself in pictures...

Same here exempt danny was my favorite and sandy but kenickie died when I was born I was in love with it when I was 4 years old and I still am in love with it
If have always said since I was in my early 20's (never ever was a one to make a sly comment about and old person even when I was that age) that if one lives long enough one will become old.
I am 53, and very active. When I go for a 1 hour run or a long bike ride, I put in the movie soundtrack in my ears , and push on play so I can relive the movie again........and again..........and again.........
They were lucky enough to have their YOUTH captured on film for the World to see them in the incredible and carefree movie “Grease” over and over again.🎞🍿 A classic never goes out of style.
Thoroughly enjoyed this! I was 21 when the show came out. Now I’m 64 and I cannot believe how time has passed so quickly. Thank you for sharing this with all of us!!
I really enjoyed this movie back in the era of 1977. No I'm very emotional to see all the actors and actresses the way they look as of right now they look wonderful.
R.I.P to all of those who have passed. I had the hugest crush on Jeff Conaway. Grease was my absolute favorite movie/musical growing up..and still is! I was even in our high school production of it. I played the role of Frenchie!! *lol*...super fun and will never forget that experience.
Gimme a break--she may have been "drop dead gorgeous" in the 70s, but those days are long gone. She still looks really nice for her age (71), I'll give you that (and among the women in this cast, based on the way they look now, I'd say she's in the top 3 at least).
Awh man this was so moving to me. GREASE was my early teen movie. Best musical still to this day 25+yrs later. This was both Lovely & heartbreaking. Thank you !
When I look at this, I can't believe it. Our life has slipped away before our eyes. I'm 66. I had my first baby in 77. she is 42 and going to be a g ma. I'm going to be great g ma. om gosh
The cast brought a lot of joy to those of us who were teenagers back then, and how we loved the music ! thanks to all those who made part of the cast and crew, in their aged faces I can still see the young ones they were, beautiful then, beautiful now
One cast member that was overlooked was Leo, leader of the Scorpions, a.k.a. Crater Face. He was played by Dennis Cleveland Stewart, who died at only 46 in 1994 of AIDS.
I was 8yrs when Grease on big screen, I'm 48 still love the movie still watch it over and over. Seeing thoses professional actors pass away sad to see. (But God took them for a reason.) There aren't no film like it...
So thankful for my Grade 9 teacher who made us watch this pretty movie. At first we thought it would be just a waste of our time watching this 'old school' type of movie but our expectations failed us. This movie taught us so many things.. and seeing them getting older makes me feel odd. p.s. Our teacher made us to recreate this movie year ago live at our school gymnasium. It was an honor to play the role of Sandy. I really had fun doing it❣️
I feel old so old now. I remember Grease in the cinemas. I remember "You're the one that I want" was number 1 in the charts. I wanna go back to the 70's - actually I'd prefer the 80's. The 80's were brilliant.
I loved the 80s myself time for everything peace family and love... money wasn't a worry things where good. Just would have liked to be able n adult then 😉
Definitely the best times in my life, the Golden era of the 70c , my friend couldn’t controlled her excitement in the cinema, got and danced, oh boy I was pretty embarrassed.
I remember being little and it was the racy movie that someone's mom rented for her birthday sleep over when we where like 9 and still where told to cover our eyes if anyone kissed on tv. LoL 😂.... how things have changed
The best part in Grease I ever liked about Jeff Conaway’s Kenickie reply to Stockard Channing’s Rizzo was: “Cheer up. A hickie from Kennickie is like a hallmark card.... when you care enough to send the very best.” Thank you Jeff for playing that part!
To all that died, S.I.P love this movie, and the piano in the background just make me feel to cry. Life is a reality of what we are about to faced, and where we will be.
Such wonderful memories of being young. First car, first girlfriend and first drive-in movie experience. Thank you so much for the memories. Still talk with the girl I dated in 1976 but blessed beyond belief to have been with my wife for 43 years. Life is a wonderful thing.

Fred-I completely agree with you....the 70's were the high point in my life; after that everything went downhill and the routine & perpetual day by day living continued on and , here it is, 40 years later and we still have wonderful, vivid memories of our yesteryear within our teenage days....GOOD TIMES😂😁👍
Sad to say the kids today may never look back and say I wish that I was young again. I know because I have adult children and they never speak of their childhood even though they had a great childhood. It's still not the same as we had it.
Among the female cast members shown here (based on their "now" pics), I'd say ONJ, Dinah Manoff and Susan Buckner are the top 3, "looks"-wise, in no particular order. (ONJ is the oldest of those 3.)
Olivia Newton-John, Dinah Manoff and Susan Buckner--just to name 3--were, & are, prettier than Didi Conn, IMHO. Granted, Manoff & Buckner are a few years younger than "Frenchie".

Yep, I cant believe my friends and I went to the late night movie to see this over 42 years ago! One of my friends has passed on and now that I see how many here have passed its just so depressing on one hand and on the other I can say I was able to witness Hollywood greatness as it unfolded.
I'll tell you what; This is an excellent video, and this is also a very sad video. Why do I watch these? Grease has stood up over time to be a masterpiece. However, this video couldn't more clearly show how sadly, our youth is our youth, and boy do we change. I am sad.

This makes me so sad to see them age. It makes me feel uneasy to know they're all in their 60's/70's. Grease is a wonderful movie and i've watched since I was a little girl (im 12 rn). RIP to all those amazing cast who are no longer with us and also made Grease one of my all-time favourite films :)
Bobby Turcotte I cannot tell you the number of times I “graduated” from Ryder High! It is my all time favorite movie. I am 72 yrs young, and it takes me back to a better time in life! Time is gone way too soon. 😥
@@jks0625 as awful as it is that she has cancer, what does that have to do with her surgery? She ruined her own looks by going under the knife. Same with Stockard Channing, she was such a unique beauty. They should have taken inspiration from people like Honour Blackman and Betty White, they still look beautiful wrinkles and all.
We sneaked in to the local fleapit through the toilet window and watched it 3 times for free by hiding under the seats as people left (aged 10 ) Great memories
I saw an interview with Jeff Conaway, I think after he was on celebrity rehab. He showed the surgical scars on his back. I was shocked as the scars were nearly the length of his spine. My Dad had had back surgeries but his scars were nothing like Jeff. Bless his heart.
I am 50 years old & I've been lucky to have my mom & siblings all this time. As I watched this video, I began to wonder how much time do I have left? This is why you should live life to the fullest, take care of your body & lots of other things that I am ignoring. When my time comes, I just want to go in my sleep like my grandmother did at 94...
I've watched a lot of these. Many of these movies came out in my teen years, And others in the early 80s. Many of those who played parts in them have been called home. But the great memories will go on ...... I myself am getting close , But the greatest scrapbook resides in my mind and heart. God bless all
saw movie loved it aging can be hard ,when you get older you can get sick illness,but i loved them all sorry so r gone.will see the movie agian this week.
@rob yohn Based on the pic shown here (of Ellen in the movie), I was thinking she looked like that skinny waitress--"Vera", I think--from the 70s TV show Alice, set in Mel's Diner...another waitress in that show was "Flo", who said "kiss my grits" a lot ;)
