It's pronouned Fie-fur and Michelle Pfeiffer is famous!! She was Catwoman in Batman, in Witches of Eastwick, and Hairspray to name just a few. Get your head out of the sand and educate yourself!! And I really liked this movie. I own it. I will NOT be subscribing to your channel. Furthermore, Maxwell Caulfield was in the spin-off ftom Dynasty. Plus he is English and went back to England so naturally YOU never heard of him. Do some research, fool.
Maxwell Caulfield was a hearthrob he is still a crush Michelle Pfeiffer is beautiful They are amazing The main characters and suporting ones are likeable
Having seen this at least 50 times since I was 8 years old, I have to say I don't think that Johnny and Stephanie were together in the beginning. johnny was a toxic clinger and Stephanie was trying to get away. Also I never thought she was mad that Johnny kissed Paulette . She was mad because after they kissed Johnny tries to kiss her (Stephanie) and she was saying leave me alone. I do agree that t birds would not be in a talent show and also how did no one recognize Michael?! I still love this movie though.
Stephanie wasn't mad about her fellow Pink Lady kissing Johnny I think she & Johnny dated briefly but she saw how immature Johnny was & broke it off. Johnny obviously isn't over her & he felt he was entitled to have Stephanie as his girl since both were leaders of their cliques.
Okay, I have two guiltu pleasure favorite bad musicals. This one is number 1. The other one is "The Pirate Move" with Chirstopher Atkins and Kristy McNichol. You need to do that one next! If you thought "Score Tonight" was bad, wait until you hear "Pumping and Blowing." hahaha
After watching a podcast about Grease 2 one podcaster was saying why Stephanie was a cooler character than Sandy & she was right Stephanie knows exactly what she wants in a guy & what she wants out of life. Unlike Sandy who tried to be herself but ends up changing herself because no one accept Frenchy was appreciating her for who she is she basically gave into peer pressure. Sandy's senior year was pretty much the worst of her life & yet she was dead set on wanting to be with Danny who is the worst guy to be with. And what I mean by that is Danny acts like douche when he sees Sandy again, he was embarrassed to be seen with her when they go to the diner for their date, doesn't tell his friends & their gals to buzz off so he can enjoy his date in private, tries to force himself on Sandy at the drive-in. He pretty much acts like he's too cool for her & he lied to his friends that he banged Sandy which she never finds out about it so tell me why is everyone drooling over Danny? I would choose Michael over Danny any day Michael's better looking, he's got class, he's smart, he changes who he is but yet stays as he is Stephanie in the meantime slowly starts to fall for Michael. At the end he asks her is she likes him or the "Cool Rider" she says "Are you crazy I got 2 for the prices of one" then she kisses him now that's how Danny & Sandy's romance should've ended. The reason why Stephanie & Michael work better is they actually get to know each other during the movie & when Michael tells Stephanie that he thinks she's terrific Stephanie pretty much blushes & is taken aback she never had a guy say that to her before & she's left speechless. And she starts to warm up to Michael she was nice to him when they first meet.
I have a nostalgic soft spot for Grease 2 even though I acknowledge the problems it has. It was actually my introduction to musicals. Yes, Grease 2 introduced me to musicals. Not the classics like Singing In The Rain or Mary Poppins, or even cult classics like Rocky Horror or Phantom Of The Paradise. How sad is that?
I Love Grease 2 as a stand alone movie. I've been watching since my early teens & still hope to one day have Stephanie's Hairstyle. Alot of the biker stuff sounds like real biker rules if anyone did research on bikers old ladies.
I saw this when I was 10. I saw it several times. I really liked most of the songs and was in love with Michelle Pfeiffer. Definitely some corny stuff in the movie but I still find it extraordinarily entertaining. I would not expect people seeing it today to be super impressed but probably worth a watch considering how much complete garbage is coming out these days.
I don't know why this movie gets trashed so much! I've always loved it. Yes, maybe it's a little corny at times lol but, Love seeing a young Michelle, who I had no idea could sing until seeing this. And I love the pairing of her and Maxwell, he's so handsome, and they have great chemistry ❤
I've never been a fan of EITHER Grease movie, and I've never seen the stage musical. The first Grease movie leaves a very bad message - just tart yourself up, and your guy will respect you! - and the songs created for the movie aren't THAT great. And then there's Grease 2. You will NEVER get a good movie when you insist on doing a sequel solely because the first one made a mint and not because you have anything new to say. Like you said, the plot is just a variation of the first film but even stupider. Maxwell Caulfield was a terrible actor, IMO, which was proven when he SOMEHOW landed a regular role on Dynasty. And he's been married to Juliet Mills since 1980. How the eff did THAT happen?!! Oh, by the way, would someone explain to me why someone thought a Grease TV series was a good idea?!!
