The moment of truth when, on March 25 2007, the right guy won. That is, Max Crumm found out that America had voted him into the role of Danny Zuko (opposite Laura Osnes as Sandy)for the upcoming Broadway production of Grease.
I just saw "Grease" this afternoon. Terrific performance. Max really was great in it. I also saw him entering the stage door and wished him well. He turned to thank me. You can tell that he is so grateful to all his fans for sending him to Broadway.
I loved Max. He had such a wonderful story and had so much to overcome. And he seemed really genuine unlike a lot of the other guys on the show. I think what it came down to was who had the best chemistry of the final four, and Max and Laura definitely had the best chemistry.
I was thrilled out of my mind when Max won! He had a great year on Broadway. Now, he has to break into the film business. No mean fete...best of luck, Max.
I loved max and laura :) I think he fits the role perfectly if you look at john travolta in the movie, he played a goofy sensitive guy in a fake tough guy bravado. Wish i could go to NYC to see them on broadway..tour ? lol
I love Max and think he'll be a great Danny! But-- I also really really liked Austin--make him Kenicke! Or cast him in a remake of Dirty Dancing. He's great!
No, it doesn't look good. But then, it doesn't look good for young people going into most fields right now. Actually, the entertainment business, producing affordable entertainment like movies and tv, should do relatively well in the coming Depression.
