This is a full-length audio recording of the original Broadway production of Grease, recorded from the audience on July 28th 1972. This original production notably features much more profanity that has since been removed from the published version of the show and all subsequent revivals. Almost all of the original cast are featured on this recording, with the exception of Adrienne Barbeau as Rizzo, Katie Hanley as Marty, and Don Billett as Vince Fontaine, all of whom had left the show by this point.
