Grease West End 2023 Opening Night

I saw this when it was on tour back in 2021 in Liverpool! It was the most amazing experience; so much so, I've just booked it a second time for next year on opening night!

I saw this REVIVAL production twice. Just to have clearer view. And sorry, but it’s a mess. Choreography and energy is amazing, bravo! BUT plot is full of holes, many things don’t make any sense, relationship between many characters is not there, it’s more like an ensemble story, rather Sandy and Danny’s one ( their relationship is here awkward and I don’t see why they are even together at the end). Olivia and Dan are singing beautifully, but there is no visible chemistry between them. Weird production, not really necessary though.

If this is the original Grease script, hooray! If it is the 1990s re-write it is an abomination and should never be staged again.

This gave me chills! I wish I had been there to see the show. But it's a LONG swim across the pond.

I remember when Debbie Gibson starred in the wesr end production of Grease as Sandy.
