Haha so funny! I predicted that the next product you will review is the stinger and IT REALLY IS! The stinger is a really solid product man, the hype is real! You get more than what you pay for! Not the best but REALLY GOOODD! The sound it produces and the mic quality! Aesthetics and overall quality! Waiting for the next vid bro!
just ordered mine earlier today and it comes tomorrow, decided to watch a review and i’m excited since my current headset mic is super bad as it’s more made for sound
Bought this one in Feb 2017, still have it. My first Headset. Very comfortable! You can have it on your head for 10 hours straight! Perfect MIC - I work from home now cuz of covid-19, ppl with whom I speak cant even hear me typing on my keyboard. Same if you play with your friends...on discord or any other platform no1s gonna hear from u until you actually start talking! The noise suppression is just amazing! The stereo drivers are mega cool. You can listen to the music and in the game you can easily hear if other players are in behind you at the left or right side. etc. ...sound clear and loud as good as any 7.1. Got my new Cloud Alpha Pro, gonna test it tomorrow, but for any1 out there going for a budget headset, for 50$...for me Hyper X Cloud Stinger is the best choice you can make! Now just as Im gonna have to use my new Alphas, Im gonna give my actual Cloud Stinger to my friend. It is still working as 3 years ago. No scratch on it or anything! Absolutely out of this world! You wont regret for a bit if you buy it! The only thing that made me buy a new headset is cuz of the artificial leather of ear cups that a few months ago started dropping off...its kinda transforming itself into the cloth ear cushions :D :D :D
@@Hemson it has great sound, not so bassy as the new cloud I have now, but still great and a lil bit louder though. I think Ive never used it on max volume lol
Thanks for this, been choosing the Cloud Stinger 7.1 and this one, and after watching your review your so much happier with this headset rather than the 7.1 (Almost everyone is saying it was a bait to be more pricey). You got a new subcriber here. Hope to see more videos.
I've been using these for about a year and I agree there really is no bass. I use them as all around headphones for music, gaming, and media at home. They work and sound nice at moderate volumes, but it could be a lot better. I just ordered the Cloud Alphas and I'm hoping they will be a crazy upgrade. The stingers are on sale for 29 dollars rn and for that price they are absolutely worth it.
Was considering the Turtle Beach Recon 200, but saw the Hyper X at #1 and went with those. Ordered and should arrive in a couple days. Thanks for the thorough reviews!
I bought these 8 months ago , and these are beast for the price you pay😍😍😍😍really recommend them!!!!👀👀👀 , and I enjoyed ur review😂😂 you look so energetic 😋😋
Hey man really nice review, You’re the best reviewer and the most honest one out there and I really appreciate that keep it up dude. Since you said that you do play on console, what headset would you recommend to me knowing that I want 7.1 surrounded sound in it?
1st, do not judge your headset [purchase off the box saying 7.1, all headset surround sound if fake fluff. sometime it will boost the sound stage (on higher priced headsets) but most of the time it just drops the lows, and increases the highs. as for you looking for a solid headset, what is your price range?
@@alexdavies3483 alright, i was debating getting these or the redragon h350s but after seeing you've had these last for 2 years and they still work fine i'm 100% going for the stingers now.
Hrdxyt I think they are in that spectrum where the sound quality is just good enough and the price is dirt cheap compared to others on the market which are upwards of £100/£200
@@bitpat7008 well,my ears don't. But that's because I never experienced sweaty ears in headsets. So unfortunately I can't tell. But I can tell that they are not tight though. So it's easy to wear.
My take on the hyper x cloud stinger: it’s a great headset for the price For the first 3 months there were no problems and the sound was pretty good. You could hear people creeping up on you from behind in call of duty and it was pretty loud During the 4th month my friends started to say there were echoes and that would happen frequently Month 5 this headset is on its life line I usually play 4 days a week on medium usage Overall it’s an great headset but it’s not that durable
I can't believe that you already have 6200 subs so quickly after hitting 1000. You deserve it man. It's a lot of work. I always tried to do RU-vid but I just couldn't do it because it is quite hard to do with a job or school.
Fartt. My ears kind of sweat after about 3 hours but I broke these yesterday. Dropped them on the floor and left ear stopped working. Most likely because I bought a used one though
The Faris Files no problem, Have you tried getting them ordered from amazon? I got mine from their for £50 and less than 3 day delivery. Also what are you using your headphones for? I’m using mine for warzone on Xbox.
The Faris Files I played fortnite since season 1 and became really good at the game with like 400+wins I think the game started going downhill after season 8 and fully started to die after the World Cup, but with the current state of fortnite I have switched to warzone which is so much better and a great change from fifa, minecraft and fortnite.
Nice just got started on computer gaming (still use a Mac, will get a gaming pc eventually don’t worry) I have a red dragon keyboard and redimp mouse I don’t have a headset yet probably going to pick this one
Koalbee. They are super good really recommend just know when they come there might be an option audio enchancement turn it off it makes sound sound weird
I regret upgrading from this to the cloud II. I felt this headset much better sounding and mic about the same. The only problem with stinger is that my ears get very hot
I’m just watching these reviews so I can see other people’s reactions now I’m buying and the other reason I want to buy them is my brother in law when I first put them on to play on his ps4 they felt GREAT on my ears and I love when you put up the mic to mute so good
The mids are there for footsteps. The bass is good for explosions on these. I am a firm believer in having less bass. You muddy the details that actually matter when playing games
@@deathvraider6475 Thank you. I have a problem with headsets that makes too much pressure on my ears, I think its the noise cancelation thing. I get ear pain and dizzy. Is the cloud stinger tight or is it lighter and looser?
@@Hemson Actually this headset dosen't have that much pressure clamp force in my opinion. Its slips away some times. But now ive accustomed to its shape and its fine now. Definetely my lowest clamp force headset
@@deathvraider6475 Thank you very much. I forgot to ask: How is the music sound performance? I listen to a lot of music and I'm curious if the Cloud Stinger does a great job for music listening, as it also seems to do for gaming. That's all my doubts.
I hope there's a comparison between HyperX Cloud Stinger and Logitech G332. I'm choosing these two but I want the answer of the community which is better.
@@youssefessamshawkyabdelgha3214 I think I prefer HyperX. I picked Logitech and I think the foam is too hard. HyperX they said is comfortable so I think you should pick it. The two uses 50mm drivers so it's the same when it comes to sound.
I had the hyperx flights at launch but 1 and a half years later the right side has no audio. The volume wheel was messed up 8 months ago... so my experience....not buying expensive wireless headsets anymore. These are solid for gaming. ...my only question is ... pick up these or the cloudx at 50 bucks?
legit been looking for an answer, i have an old pair of sennheiser hd 558s but theyre 5 years old and when playing FPS i cant hear location of footprints or shooting idk if old or just not that good for directional sound
@@WinterXI Just found out that the hyper x cloud stinger is better than the razer kraken x essential because it has a better sound quality and the durability was really good. The only advantage that the razer kraken x has was the 7.1 surround sound app which was not really beneficial for gaming and will only prove its worth when you are watching a movie. The razer almost destroyed the hyper x cloud stinger but sadly the materials used for the plastic build of razer was terrible and many reviews mentioned that it is prone to cracking after light accidents. If you are a heavy gamer that tends to play games like fps shooters and 5 v 5's then you should buy the cloud stinger because the mic even comes with a mute function and the sound would help you out when you are gaming but if you only play for like 1 to 2 hours a day and you love watching movies or talking to your friends in skype then consider the razer kraken x essential because the mic is better than the cloud stinger and it comes with a 7.1 surround sound app which can boost your viewing experience.Dont be fooled with the razer 7.1 surround sound function especially if you are a heavy gamer because it wont be of any use when you play fps shooters and the audio also gets distorted especially when you are on gaming, it will only function propely when you are watching movies. I would recommend the cloud stinger because it is better in terms of sound quality and durability but it all comes down to your preferences😊. Have a good day.
@Hopex Playzz No problem man, I watched and did my research and I currently own the hyper x cloud stinger. I am really satisfied because it is comfortable and portable. The sound is also good and it is lighter than the kraken x. Both are worth your money if you want to save your money but I prefer the hyper x cloud stinger.
From the 80’s? Woof. These are sexy! Matte black and red, sharp and smooth lines. And swivel! Durable light plastic. No removable cable or mic but that’s what helps make this the BEST budget headset
Outere well as you can see I commented it 4 months ago and those already broke not from the adjuster but from the mic it would make a very irritating static noice and I would have to adjust my mic so it wouldn’t make it
Good day Techne, first off, i love your reviews. You talk non stop and you know what youre talking about. Now, regarding this certain headset which is coming to me by delivery soon, i know this sports a 3.5mm end but i was wondering if the sound would get better if i get a 3.5mm to usb converter. The one with its own soundcard. Thanks for any feedback and keep up the reviews!😁
Which headphones are better, the hyperx cloud stinger or the corsair hs50 pro? I'm mainly interested in the sound quality and comfort btw. However i want to use them for music and movies as well and not just for games. Pls respond asap The Techne cuz i'm looking for a headphone to buy now. Thanks alot in advance!
do you recommend using something like APO equalizer on this headset to raise the bass (low frequencies) a little in competitive fps games ?? #thetechne @the techne
Hi I just watched two of your reviews and I don't know which to get either the hyperX cloud stinger or the Logitech g332 can you please help me decide?
Long Gahn I want to but I’ve seen an over whelming amount of people saying the sound quality is bad, although I won’t be recording and only talking with friends every now and then I’m still concerned.
Ayce ツ nah man don’t listen to them. It’s good. It’s $50. What do they expect... Turtle beach elite sound quality??? I play pubg and cod and these are perfect.
I don't play games. Can I use these headphones on my Samsung Galaxy M21 ??? For listening to all kinda videos like tv series and shows, web series and shows, films, animes etc. etc. and all kinda musics of all kinda genres etc. etc. and also, for songs musics making and production and composition etc. etc. But Most Importantly, For Listening To all kinda Videos; Like Tv Series and Shows, Web Series and Shows, Films, Animes etc. etc. But first of all most importantly, Can I use these headphones on my Samsung Galaxy M21 ??? For listening to all kinda videos; like tv series and shows, web series and shows, films, animes etc. etc.
Just bought ones for my Xbox series X and the sound is very nice, and with the Dolby Atmos Eq I can customize the sound. In terms of sound, are they very different from the Kairas Pro?
The Techne i accidentally dropped them and all of that energy went to the weakest part of the headset and snapped the plastic connecting the band to the ear cup so that one ear is only hanging by the wire. it was probably the best headset ive ever owned and i would definitely recommend it to someone who has the money.
Should I go for these or SHP9500? Is the difference justifiable? I'm looking at using these mostly for single player gaming experience. Most of them are RPGs
On my country from my choice this is the cheapest, next Corsair HS50, and then Arctis 1. Just go for this Stinger or add some for the other or there are better option around this price for now?
hey i get it that theyre good....but can u tell em what do u find bad about them...one thing i wanna know is do you hear an annoying static sound when you change the volume from the volume control slider? im asking this because i've bought a pair of headphones and they had this problem but no one talked about it...i later dound out some cheap volume control wheels and sliders have this problem
@@TheTechne thank you..I didnt think you will answer...your review is the best one so far because of the detail in it...but i have one more question...why is the box white?....in most of the unboxings and reviews the box is black and red....and in every unboxing i saw of this white box the headphones were in a plastic thing...and in the unboxings of the red box they are in foam...can you explain this...it changed recently or depends in what country or where u buy them from...i dont get it
Just bought this stinger hours ago and i was wondering if i have a defective one. The audio is very tinny and the vocals are echoe for some reason. Is it really like that or is something wrong. Tried in all device and no difference. Should i get a refund or replacement?
