Just love the the description: "This is not a regular lets play. do not expect it to be" Just fucking epic! It kinda reminds me of Anonymous: "We are Anonymous. Expect Us." :p
Lancers and other shock cavalry work quite well in Empire but melee cavalry is shit. You just have to charge and pull back, rinse and repeat. But I never play on such difficulties because it just takes away the fun of a fight.
this really demonstrates well why adding more cheats to ai is just the laziest, worst way of inflating difficulty. what utter idiocy that 4 units with guns need 10s of volleys to kill a single ai unit
+Teoman Demirciler I was starting to get a little worried that this campaign would be lacking in horse sandwiches. I should never have underestimated Legend.
+da' medic i dont do speed runs. i do blitzes. I wouldnt know how to go about speedruns. you'd have to auto resolve everything and rush the entire thing very fast.
I probably sound like a scrub but I can't best this game on legendary only very hard maybe it's the faction(USA) but I can't blame a faction for my incompetence
Don't watch many empire campaigns so this should make a good impression on the game, and should hopefully accept whether or not I want to buy it. So far it's a buggy game that can be abused to shit...GG
Steffan Kitchener I like to play exploitively. So if I know an AI weakness whether in sieges, fields, or naval battles in Empire's case, I exploit it. And this game can be far more abused than Medieval II, so Empire isn't for me. Plus, melee sucks. Only things I would praise in this game is KINDA the naval battles, the good things you get from having colonies in campaign, line infantry balance in battles, and artillery balance.
