I've always thought about an idea like this where the towers in the rush are stacked on top of each other like this, but actually seeing it is really cool. Love it, and gfj for actually beating it 🔥
Yoo! I just got recommended this and I'm the 4th victor but all I have to say about this great citadel is, it's a blast. I had fun whilst doing it (even if I fell like 8 floors down) I had so much fun experiencing this with friends and such. And the fact how this can be a great citadel AND include thanos tower WITH nets is just crazy. I had so much fun and would be definitely interested if a "Great Citadel of Ring 2" came out. Thanks for making this I had a blast.
One of the biggest problems with such projects. Is getting the models, the JToH staff team doesnt always upload models to the marketplace etc. But community towers are easier to get. So long story short, if he's going to build Great Citadel of ring 2 he needs some tower models that aren't public and that's difficult to get to. Also im fairly sure its stated in the description. And there's also a sign on the starter island stating this.
tbh they should absolutely replace tower rushes with these kinds of citadels, they seem a lot more structured and overall enjoyable than 2 hrs of free gameplay and then like a couple towers that will end your run lol
Yeah I agree. I wanted to tinker around with the idea of doing the tower's floors out of order to see how that would change the experience. This was also kind of a demonstration of what a real great citadel could actually be (most other great citadels are just the same floor or tower spammed over and over again).
The problem with that is that, due to the immense part count of just one great citadel, thier presence would cause massive amounts of lag in thier respective rings. Maybe, due to the lower floor amount, it could be possible in a subrealm? But due to the increasing tower part counts nowadays, I doubt it.
I've been seeing some confusion on how GCoR1 is any different from R1TR. This great citadel is arranged by floor and not by tower (i.e. you play ToAST f1, then ToA f1, then ToM f1, etc. rather than playing all of ToAST, then all of ToA, then all of ToM, etc.). It's kind of tricky to explain but if you watch the video for a couple minutes it makes sense. Hope this helps! edit: I am now just deleting comments that ask how this is different. How hard is it to watch the video for more than 5 seconds to answer the question yourself?
if you plan on doing ring 2, i think itd be cool if MAT was at the very end, and have the tightrope work as the final jump for the GC to do a bit of trolling for mobile players
2:14:36 NEAT EDIT: you could’ve made the 365-stud jump be a troll, and then you’d have to do two dropper sections, one which is straight up the cols dropper section, and the other being a sort of recap of cols f13-17, and after that you do the jump
Would have been cool if basement one was part of floor 7 and basement two was part of floor 8 since thats they are counted as floors. And you get massively disappointed with the dropper as you just teleport to true skill
@@NotRubik theres a tosp floor 10 secret ending if you insert a code that has 9 numbers you get from the 9 floors of tosp then you fall to the outside of tosp to insert the code you get to unlock the secret floor, i know its convoluted but theres an ademiere video
Mmm needs more calamity music. Stained Brutal and Guardian of the former seas was fitting but I feel like Scourge of the Universe/Universal Collapse would fit too lol
i have 12 fails in ToTS, 8 fails on f2, 2 fails on f1, and 1 fail on f4 and f5, i just sightead the rest of the tower, which i didnt expect to be so easy
@@darthdr3 wait, if this citadel only takes f1 from every ring 1 tower/citadel, and ring 1 has 12 towers, then does that mean this citadel is supposed to have 13 floors? im kinda confused pls explain
