Great cycling descents: Ridgewood Rd 

I've been riding down this since I was 6 years old. I only crashed once. As a teenager I tried to progressively use less and less braking. Eventually, I tried to take the hairpin without brakes and crashed. It was on a beach cruiser so the speeds weren't so high. My rear tire slid out due to a bump in the turn.
