In scooby-doo, Shaggy and Scooby run away in terror whenever they see a monster. Shaggy runs at the same speed as scoob, who is a great dane. Scoob, running anywhere from 30-35 mph as a great dane, makes Shaggy also run at that speed. This makes shaggy the fastest human alive, beating Hussain Bolt (27 mph) by 8 mph.
@@AD-vf3ek tails can hit like a baseball bat! lol catch tip too the eye! hurts like it looks! lol clear off any coffee tables etc too. lol 1 point i had 3 in a 750 square ft house. lol
Beautiful dog, and it looks like she's in great shape. Nice and fit with a lot of space to run. Great Danes can definitely stretch out and go, they just need room.
We've got a dog like that here believed to be a Great Dane/American Bulldog mix. There is something indescribably beautiful and poetic about the way these animals run!
awesome! my great dane used to pull me around the neighborhood on my bicycle.....when i would say "take me home" it looked like your video but with a bike attached to it with me holding on for dear life! ahhhhh!
@DaneMomDogTrainer Thanks, that make me feel better. When we adopted her at about 18 months she was only about 95 lbs and you could see every bone. Sad really but she is happy and loved now.
When I was a kid, these dudes with white shirts, ties, and pamphlets would occasionally walk from the highway to our porch where our Great Dane was laying. He'd wait til they got all the way up to the steps, then he'd LAUNCH. They'd never it to the highway without getting plowed over. He LOVED those visitors.
Very cool. I have never seen a great dane run full speed before. I have never even thought of that happening. Thirty miles per hour is impressive. Great vid.
Better late than never! That's very sad but thank you for sharing this with me, I'm glad that you confirmed that it actually IS a possibility. Have a lovely day/ night.
i once went to pick up my nephew at his friend's house who owned horses. as my nephew entered the car i noticed one of their "horses" got out of a gate and said "hey, one of their colts is loose"...my nephew was all "that's their fricking dog" It was a great dane. :)
@DarkRebelCafe I will admit I never got into the "showing" of Danes although I can appreciate it. When I first got Jessie from the rescue they said she was full blooded but had undesirable features. Meaning black color with white spots. I said pooey and loved her even more because of what they said. She is perfect in my book.
@Habegger23 Jessie hasn't had any issues with her legs, hips, or stomach. I have heard the same though. I always thought she was under normal weight and worked directly with the vet putting her on a special diets after we adopted her from the rescue but she never got over 120 lbs. That is on the very low end of an average female so perhaps that created less stress on her joints.
This is the kind of exercise a dog needs. They say that no matter what, we as pet owners of dogs are never giving the full amount of exercise to a dog that he/she needs.
