Great video! Thanks for sharing and taking care for our Veterans! It brought tears to my eyes to know that because of great men like him we can hunt this God blessed land in peace!
My best day was 17 rabbits with my buddy and I. This was in central Montana. We dont run dogs but it looks like a blast. Love hearing them dogs sing. My dogs seem to enjoy it as well. (listening) I get most of my rabbits by sandstone bluffs and fence lines. Shotgun and 22 rifle that day. Thanks for sparking some great memories.
It's great hearing all the guys saying "finally got one". Nothing like a hunt where everyone gets one at least. You don't wanna come in and have one guy out of 10 who hasn't though. Good job with the camera. Holly hell 7.30 ... that's one fast moving bunny ... almost gotta lead them like ducks LOL
Not bad. I was a kid ... "Queenie" brought 23 rabbits in one day. I remember her nippin and hearin that rabbit squeal cause it wouldn't turn. I miss that smelly ole dog. Big hat tip (God Bless =) brothers for still running 'em
I have a pack of four im from franklin Ohio I've got a good started male about 10 months old and 3 7 month old pups that aint to far behind! im 18 just getting stated back into running hounds I love it!!
Finally a man with a camera that actually knows how to get the rabbit into the video! Also, they are some no BS dogs! They are on it! Great job. Would however like to know the title of the closing song.
That had to be a great time. We could hunt for a week and not kill that many rabbits. Maybe our population will come back some day. I enjoyed that probably as much as any of the videos. Mark~
yup, southern ohio, around jackson the info and flyer is on the site on my channel. the comments wont let me post the link should be a blast. about 2,000 acres old mead props, score 4 animals per 2 man team. overall length in inches plus weight in ounces weapon adjusted scoring. the harder the weapon the bigger the score. x3 for an airgun kill. x2 for a pistol or bowkill
I knelt on a thorn from one of those trees going under some brush rabbit hunting. Went in about an inch. Pulled it out and felt fine. The next day my knee was swelled up and i could barely walk. Thanks for watching.
Looks like the rabbit darts under the fallen trees in front of the hunter just at the 3:11 mark. Look for the small dark blur sneaking under the extreme left side of the closest branch. Something definitely moves under that branch.
Wow just watching this video at 59 now takes me back to the 70's as a kid when my family on my dad's side the boys (uncles) would take the good ole beagles (rabbit dogs) out to the woods and just run'em and hunt'em and ocasionally bring back some table fare !!!
The way huntin used to be when i was a kid here in nj. Now they look at us like we're monsters. But screw them and there libturd reaility. My days of woods walking and loving the outdoors are over. 63 and had to stop hunting 15 yrs ago. My disability has me bedridden now. But my youth up to near 50 i hunted and got tons of game even with my spine cut by dr butcher in79 love the videos.
