This has always been one of my favorite themes. I've wanted to cover this ever since I started doin RU-vid. I figured since this month marked the 3 year anniversary of "Shady Cicada", I'd finally make a cover of this (..and some other songs..). This theme always manages to tug at my heart-strings in every Zelda game. I can't wait to hear the next iteration! Here's my metal cover of "Great Fairy's Fountain" from the Legend of Zelda series!

Shady, this is why you're my favorite. Covers like this one. Great Fairy's Fountain is a song that is very calm which I think makes it hard to cover into a genre like Metal in a way that clearly shows off the Metal while also maintaining the integrity of the original song. Yet, you always do it so well and you even add a really nice spin on it like the intro to this piece. The part where the original melds with your cover is like warm butter to my ears, man. Seriously, I love it. You're a great artist!

Hey, I came across this cover when I was searching up Scott Pilgrim vs The World’s version of FF. Just wanted to say you did an amazing job on this cover! All the guitar riffs and strumming were exactly how I imagined they would sound. And the piano/jazz break in between the heavy guitar/drum slamming was such a calming transition. I may or may not have excessively jammed to this cover in the bathroom.

Sometimes I forgot how some of the most iconic Zelda themes started out as Mario songs. Fairy Fountain is one, but I'm pretty sure the flute in SMB3 carried over to the Zelda games and even became the main theme for Ocarina of Time! :) and thank you very much! I'm happy you liked it :D
