been to a few sales and some were so overpriced and it was discouraging but the last one of the day JACKPOT all clothes $1 (found a women cleaning out her work closet all very high end) all shoes $2 (found FRYE boots like brand new) Love watching keep up the good work
Hi Monica! Honestly, I’ve been disappointed in garage sales in the Twin Cities this Summer. I thought they would be so amazing with everyone purging stuff but they have just been ok for me. I felt they were better last Summer. Those owl brass bookends should do well. I would cross list on eBay and Poshmark. Brass is popular on both sites and those are some unique ones you have there.
I'm sorry to hear garage sales have been a let down for you this year! I honestly haven't been to many in the area, but I have had decent luck at local estate sales. I'm hoping to hit up a few more before Summer ends - it's crazy how fast it's flying by!!!
awesome finds! I love those bookends! I also have a white background and have a hard time photographing white items to the point where if i dont necessarily love the item i dont pick it up (if it's white) lol. What are the things you do, that you mention on the video, to make white items pop?
Hi, using props like a plant, belt, of bag can help make the item "pop". Editing the brightness/contrast also helps. Some people even use apps that completely change the color of the background. 🥰
