You had me when you opened up the dinette - it goes to the floor! With my wife’s disability requiring a comfy recliner say bye-bye dinette… hello residential recliner and a 2ft counter with deck chairs. Perfect size and use of space for us.
We own a 2022, and we love it! We've traveled 1000's of miles of really easy towing with a half ton. That said, other than the new stabilizer jacks and tank heaters, they went in the wrong direction. The bigger windows lose all of your overhead storage above the dinette and make the spot for the tv almost unusable. They removed the countertop extender that went out over the exposed wheel well. They removed the mirrors from the bedside closet doors that my wife loves. They removed the Bluetooth control panel. they removed the propane oven that, while small, we get a bit of use out of. The inverter outlet is too small to be of use and makes noise next to your head at night. Because of all those reasons, I'm content to keep my 2022. The improvement they really need to just do already is a second tv hookup in the bedroom on the wall for the bathroom.
Nice to have that cargo rack -- and a spare tire that's easy to reach. I love that little bit of floor space in the eating area that is just right to stash a broom and/or mop. When you camp with dogs, it seems that the floor forever needs sweeping! The windows and window coverings are very nice, but I would immediately replace those bloomin' accordion shades with regular roller shades. I'm not a fan of the accordion shades. They hold dust, and the cords break easily. All in all, this would be a sweet first-trailer for someone, or maybe even a "last" trailer for someone who wants to downsize to a great weekender-type trailer. Thanks, Josh! Great info here. 🙂
This is a very great weekender. That area would be great for a flip up counter and if you get a chair it would be great for work station. OR...maybe a place to fit that fish bowl? Your sense of humor is great. Anyone can do these video's but only you can make it fun to listen to them and still get all the information need and more.
I would love to have this TT. It is the perfect layout for me. I would live in it Full Time. Josh, you have an awesome sense of humor. Thanks for your entertaining and informative content ❤❤
Thanks Nerd!! Josh, you are wonderful and not stupid 🥰 Oh Cherokee - you had me until the toilet. I like the minimal board for the bedroom blinds. Flip up counter by stove would be nice. Yes, the TV bracket placing and strap to hold it in place during travel would really limit size.
I think this one is pretty good. I agree with addition of the counter extension. I would like to see it become standard that the door includes the window blind. Thanks Josh.
Not a bad little unit for a cardboard box, especially at that sale price! I think we're warming up to Garrett, though some things still flash by too fast. Something about Hanna Montana that I didn't get to finish reading, also the response to leaving something in I don't think I even got halfway through that. The bits about the weights and measures seemed good as did the holding tank capacities. Thanks for the video Uncle Josh and Garrett!
Thank you for the video. I would like a side mount counter extender. I would use the extra space for dog bowls. I would use a floating table. I wish the sink in the bathroom was smaller to have more space around the toilet. Overall nice camper.
I like it. I agree with the flip up counter. I would do a dog bed there if traveling with a pet, or bigger trash can, maybe install a removable cabinet that could go outside. This seems like exactly what i would want for full time rving with my family, but would technically need a beefier tow vehicle.
I like this layout. It reminds me of a Jayco 212/210 QBW. I think, I’d prefer a propane oven. 2:58 FYI; I tried clicking on the link below and got this is a private video. Great video Nerd. Thank you.
Just a standard ladder💥Goodyear tires💥TV💥true queen bed💥porcelain toilet💥shower door💥and a comfortable sofa or theater seating “option” for the outdated Denny’s diner booth dinette💥from awesome👍
The drivers side bedroom window, needs to open for cross ventilation. So many miss that important feature. The kitchen counter could extend and leave the bottom open. Option to have trash can, litter box or dog food container and dishes and allow more prep area. Why are kitchens always so prep limited, or an afterthought?
Suggestion: Where the light, for the sewer outlet is located, move the light under the edge of the trailer, focusing the light on the controls instead of being in your eyes. At least add a cover over the light, which directs the light down, away from your face.
Sometimes, simple is better. Im at the point where im not sure I want a slide. I've had problems with the camper we have, granted it's an older camper, but it sucks to be stuck in a campground waiting on a technician because your slide won't close!
Thanks, Nerd 🍺 🤓.. Love the colors inside & out. The only hiccup is that the bedroom is to inclosed ,need room to stretch out. What is that large brick building next to your lot?
Love the new colors. Love all the windows. Love the tall toothpick window. Don't like the pleated shades. Roller shades are better to keep out light and for privacy. Stove should be 2 burner so there can be more counter space. I thought I would miss a 3 burner stove, but 2 burner was just fine. Love the large sink. I too would probably tear out at least part of the dining area and remove the table anchors on the floor. At minimum I would change out table to a moveable one. Would need to put in true queen bed. I prefer the valence specifically so I can set stuff like my phone, etc on top. Bathroom/toilet is not fluffy friendly. My Grand Design AIM 16ML is still way better and has more storage.
Hey Josh! I love this one. Maybe my second RV if I survive this first one! What are you powering with your jump start pack ? Great video, as usual, by the way!
Love you Nerd. Giving an opinion ion on the new videos. Not a fan at all of the music in the background. I find it is just too much and annoying. I get tired of watching due to the extra noise that I am processing to block out. Just my opinion. It is definitely not adding to your videos.
Wonder what’s behind the bathroom sink next to toilet. There might be enough room if that panel can be set back a few inches for those fajita fighting nites to do your business that might be more elbow friendly…… 🚽🧻
I like it! I hate to say this, because I love the window views and the light, but I’d almost rather have some shorter windows in the back and have overhead cabinets on at least one of the three walls. Nice to see a larger fresh water tank! I like these layouts because you could remove the back dinette and put in a huge desk along the back wall facing out the back windows.
Nice unit. We would miss the propane oven..I realize a lot of folks never use them, but we use ours a lot. That little space on the campside between kitchen and dinette....I would shrink the dinette a tad and put a recliner of sorts in there..... A place for one to sit and have coffee while the other half is sleeping in. nice review.
I would put a theater seat against the non campsite window actually even get rid of the window or make it smaller and put some extra storage up above it. Flip that small shelving area under the campsite window make it a televator with a fireplace. I would put in a two-seater bar in the corner so as to be able to look out if you're backed up against the lake or look out to the campsite. That way you could have your morning coffee and breakfast and by night or rainy day You could do Netflix and chill! By doing that you might actually be able to extend the countertop in the kitchen area I would flip that stove top to a two-burner that would definitely give you more countertop space. And I would do the curved shelf in the bathroom for more elbow room. I would do the cutaway storage units on either side of the bed so their shelves by your head. I would lengthen the awning to include coverage over the bedroom window.
Yes to a flip up counter extension. Shorten the hanging wardrobe cabinets and create space for nightstands. Wow that's a tight bathroom. Amazing cargo capacity! There is room for the awning to extend forward to the front side of the bedroom window. Thanks for another great review Josh!
Move the TV bracket to the other side. You could still mount it high enough that you could put a Swiffer or other wet mop/broom thing there without much difficulty.
Like it. For small trips this would be great for me. Love the windows. The U dienet is good. Has some good space. The bathroom is to small! Like the Xl vet fan. The bed is ok. It’s good for small trips but I can deal with it for a weekend.
Need some help. Just sold my camper and sold it with the bitch and WD bars So here’s the question. If I can’t get the dealer to throw in a hitch and WD bars, I’m looking at a set up. The only question I have is the set up I’m looking at has a TW of 1,000lbs, but the camper I’m looking to buy has a TW of 1,050. Would it be too much? Should I try and have the dealership throw it in or bite the bullet for $700 and buy it through them? I bought a used camper from a family friend that came with it all this is my first dealership purchase
Like you said, I love the windows. But I would sacrifice the height in the windows for 72×96 piano hinged plywood bunk. Now it sleeps 6. Add an option door under the booth for an outside kitchen. All the boxes would be checked. 😊
I would totally agree if it just had a comfortable sofa or theater seating “option” for the 1950’s diner booth booth dinette for those cold rainy days and weekends😢
I realise I am probably in the minority here, but I truly detest all these windows that the manufacturers are putting in. It is overkill. More windows to me mean less storage. Then, in the winter you have more potential leaks and cold air coming in. If you have the shades open, a complete lack of privacy and if you have them closed, what is the point of a million windows? And, in the summer you are living in a greenhouse. Not to mention there is always a potential crack waiting to happen. And the big windows so many places INSIST on putting above the bed head is just dumb. I really don't get it. Thanks for reading my rant, Josh, at least my hubby won't have to listen to it!!!
To answer your question depends on how the individual camps. - If they camp with a cat, then a cat tree and/or litter box would fill that empty spot. - If they camp with a dog, then the food & water dish or dog bed would work. - Petless couples could put an end table with lamp on top potentially. That would add more touches of home plus more storage.
Oh, again with the princess bed! With not enough room to walk around a true queen, unfortunately I'd pass on this one. What a shame, as I really like the whole "no slide" thing. Another outstanding video, Uncle Josh!
All the glass - Yes! My dogs would own the dinette area. Bedroom setup good. +1 for gas struts in there. Convection vs gas oven - yes. The bad - TV placement needs rework. Awkward at best for the dinette and likely not viewable at all from the bedroom. Bathroom layout. No point to have a throne that doesn't fit adults.
I really like this one! The main thing I think could be improved is putting the toilet straight in next to the shower for more space while seated and then move sink to the right side wall of the bathroom then the toilet wouldn't be blocking the counter as much.
No rv is all season rated - not truly. Factories make tons of claims on their marketing but don’t actually have real testing or backing At best some rvs are rated to 0 degrees but that’s about it There’s very little actual proof of function out there Cougars have done well in both testing and actual real world function though
3:45😂🎉"... Sounds like I'm struggling right there I really had to engage my chubby core to do the lean back and then Lean back forward I don't know if you've noticed but I'm not a guy that lives on doing situps....😂"I sure do love self-deprecating humor, it's my favorite!
