I lifted Luther up on bar in South Bend,Indiana back in the 70s,and helped him back down while he pulled his long guitiar cord outside,and back in the bar and back to the stage..What a musician..The crowd went crazy..Awsome,Luther was..

My car caught fire today. I had a luther disk of cherry red wine on and when we got to the solo part smoke started pouring from the speakers and the dash burst into flames. I was with his son, Barnard, at Dusk til Dawn last year. Another great talent. I think Barnard's group is the best blues band going at this time. Does his own thing but you can always hear his daddy in there. Love them both.

I worked @ the GVSC Jazz Festival in 80s. I remember drinking peppermint schnapps backstage with Luther, saying Duran Duran made more on one album than all the bluesmen in history. And also at the end of his set saying,"Jimi's here, he's come back to be with us, I'm just going to let him play here for a little while" and then turning into Jimi Hendrix for a while. Playing backward, upside down, teeth, behind the head, all the tricks and totally unlike Luther's usual sound. Still gives me chills.

I love this style of music. Great Song and awesome performance. I am a fan!

I attended the Concert in Odense, Denmark april 20.th 1996...amazing Same band as in this vid. Luther played the Drums and the Drummer was up front singing and a lot of more fun!

Great video! His band is too funny... the tenor sax player is the like the unmovable object and the alto is like the irresistable force... complete opposite personalities. And his bass player looks like the star of the movie the Social Network. Nice number.
