It's hard to say what my favorite garden is. They're all so beautiful in their own way. It was a wonderful walk, ending with the incredible viaduct. Thanks Simon and Will for sharing.
I loved the running water and the children's voices. We are in our second heat wave. So, I think you can understand I appreciate the cooling sound. These gardens are a real treat.
Beautiful, vibrant and serene, with a glorious diversity of flowers and plants, and the relaxing sounds of water and birds. The only thing missing was the ability to smell those stunning roses! As with all of your videos, I enjoyed that very much, thank you for bring us along!

The gardens were beautiful and I appreciated the restrained narration. It was the perfect way to do a video of a tranquil setting. I especially enjoyed the lovely Italian garden with the pelican statues and the trickling water going down the steps.
Thank you for taking us along on this beautiful garden tour. The sights, the sounds, the "smells" were absolutely wonderful. It was a welcome retreat as we in Southeast Texas, USA, recover from Hurricane Beryl.
@@MemorySeekers We were lucky that our apartment building stood up to the severe thunderstorms, torrential rains, 46 mph sustained winds with 90 mph wind gusts, 5 to 7 inches of rain, widespread flooding & power outages. There are still some people without power or homes or cars due to the damage of Beryl.

What a wonderful escape. I have to admit what amazed me the most is how long the effect of such a place can stay alive in us (me).and just the visions and images and smells recalled can rescue us from so much of the world's empty places and scarring episodes.

What a lovely and charming stroll you took us on, so enjoyed it as I had my afternoon tea! It's near impossible to pick a favorite, but I especially loved the old greenhouse that nature had taken over a bit, as I am quite fond of ruins and nature being entwined. Knowing when to allow nature to take control of the microphone shows such intelligent discernment as a videographer, and is such a great idea- not many YT content creators "get that!" gorgeous ! loved that waterlily pond with the pelican statue. But everything was fantastic. You can just imagine the smell of the lavender and the roses. There were some very lovely puplish blue bell shaped flowers that I am going to look up !

A beautiful & tranquil garden. We have several here in Arkansas. My 2 favorites are the Garvin Woodland Garden & the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks. Love your videos & y'all!
Thank you so much for visiting my favourite garden. So much in bloom this time of year. My daughter was saying the other day we havent visited for a few years and we are very local so no more excuses. We used to be season ticket holders when she was little. I had forgotten how beautiful it is there. Quite a few new sculptures I notice. My favourite place has to be the Italian garden. Stunning and restful. We love the viaduct too and park at Ardingly Reservoir - its three fields away from it.
@@MemorySeekers We will probably visit in September once the schools return. Have you thought of visiting Sheffield Park, East Sussex? Its stunning - autumn is beautiful with the different colours of trees and just opposite is the Bluebell Railway - also worth a visit. But then Im biased - I live down the road from them.
A stunning video and your approach with a few subtitles and commentary at only selected points meant we really could feel we were there enjoying the bird song and lush planting. Hard to pick a favourite garden but having visited pre lockdown I still have to pick the sudden arrival at the Italian garden with its waterlilies in that spectacular elevated position. The cafe area is a beautiful spot to linger too as those building weren't there on my visit . it was just a cake and drink spot served from a small building if my memory is correct. What superb promotion for a stunning garden. Thank you.
Thanks you guys! My hubby didnt sneeze once!😊 Loved those walks and the steps down through the trees always is enticing. I have to use a buggy now but those sorts of pathways used to be my favourite!😊 We loved the giant fruits!!!! Yum! What were they made out of, we wondered? That was a fab walk and the birdsong was Amazing!😊

The viaduct is quite a feast for the eyes, even if you are not an engineer, lol. The roses in this garden are fantastic; you are speaking my language, though I love all of your presentations. Lucky for me my cousins live in West Sussex. Maybe I'll make it across the pond next year. In the mean time, I'm enjoying this while my own roses are taking a break after flowering last month. Hot here, though not as crazy as the rest of California. I should be able to do some gardening after 6pm. I need to catch up on your garden videos. Cheers!
Quite incredible how they managed to built that viaduct. We had no idea it even existed until the morning of our visit and looking at local things to see near the gardens. Equally had never heard of the gardens. It was just on the list of places we could visit with our historic houses cards and so glad we found it. You think you know your own country but there are so many places yet to be discovered. Good luck with the gardening!
Beautiful garden , thank you for taking us along with you. Even the bit with the café made me feel like being there , taking a break from strolling through the gardens 😄. If there's one thing I would wish from you for future videos ( apart from please continue) is to exchange zooming or swaying around shots by freeze-and-let-nature-do-the-moving shots. What a magical place,, Were there any bees around? All those flowers and I didn't see any bees at all. Maybe they were camera shy =-). Loved the Sunday walk, thank you =-)
Please, next time you do a garden tour, it would be really great if you would show the plaques that say what type of plant or flower it is. There were so many unusual flowers, at least for us in the US.
We loved the Italian garden the most as well. I read it is where most of the trees and shrubs brought back by the seed hunters were planted in 1925 but did not say why Col Stephenson Robert Clarke gave it that name….
I liked Bettys bower but you just walked past it too quickly. You need to linger there a bit. The view from inside there must be tranquil and lovely. Guess you didnt have enough time? Also the white garden, again just too short, too quick.
I loved visiting this magnificent garden! What a delicious place! It's a shame that a camera that transmits the scents of flowers has not yet been invented. The red brick bridge is beautiful. I was enchanted with this place. Your video could be hours and hours long and I would really appreciate it! Thanks.
