As a Jamaican living in America with an American child I feel so down on a daily basis, simply because my mom is back in Jamaica, hopefully she'll be here sooner than I anticipate but I feel so burden down and hopeless everytime. I work overnight so I can be home with my baby during the day time. I sleep a maximum of 15 hours each week simple because I have to be a parent as I am the only parent responsible enough to care for my child. I play this mix daily multiple times per day. I play it on my way to work, at work, at home, my 3 y/o daughter knows the this mix as well as she sings her ABCs. She reminds me every morning mommy can you please put bring me down on the TV? Then I would start crying because little she know what's really going on in her mommy head. To cut this short, without this mix I wouldn't remember where I'm coming from and where I'm going. I vow to not give up my baby needs me.
