I'm so glad that you went for lunch. I had fondue with my Sunday school class in 1969, I was 13 yrs old.. and yes I got a foundue pot as a wedding gift 1981.. Now I can't wait to try the Melting pot for lunch. TY guys.
My husband and I went to a Melting Pot 31 years ago when we first started dating, in Houston, TX. We were there for hours, sipping wine and enjoying the 4 course dinner. Seeing you two enjoy the Melting Pot today brings back those wonderful memories. On a side note, the private booths in this restaurant would be perfect for Pal's sudden service, popping out randomly to scare you and bring your next course. 😉 "Boo!" "GAAAAAH!" "Here's your dessert." 😊 Thank you for bringing us along. 💜
Brooks, always enjoy hearing your intro 👍🏻♥️. ❤ hearing a history lesson🔔 What amazing way to escape the hassle of the parkway. Thanks for the 🤗😋 God bless
Thank you so much. That really means a lot. Y'all are really a blessing and a inspiration to our family through your lives, your faith and your many awesome videos y'all put out on your RU-vid channel.
We had a fondue pot in my family. At our fondue party, we had salad 🥗, baked potato 🥔 and we cooked steak bites in our pot. In another pot we had the cheese 🧀 and french bread 🥖. We really enjoyed our parties 🥳 🎉 😋 in cold 🥶 months.❤. Thanks for the fun video.
Yet again, another great video! I have often wondered about The Melting Pot. I really don’t think it’s my cup of tea, but y’all made it fun 🥰 Thanks for sharing! The history lessons are so much fun 🤩 I wish we could come up with a good intro! I absolutely love your intro!!! Y’all got it going on 🤗
Aww thank you! Brooks can come up with an intro on the fly. That’s for real. Melting pot is one of those places for a special occasion and it’s a cool experience. We love it 😊
I honestly don’t remember ever doing fondue. I’m going to have to check out see if I can find a restaurant or at least a fondue set. Looks fun and delicious. Thanks for sharing.
we grew up in charlotte, nc and as kids, my brothers and i had fondue often during our early teens...then the fad began to fade in popularity...our fondue was basically heated oil, into which we dipped (and cooked) raw steak, chicken, or seafood...quite a treat during the sixties
That looked so yummy!! We have a Melting Pot here in Florida near us. Since we are back home from our travels,we are definitely going to go soon!! Thanks for sharing!!The chocolate dipped brownie looked so good. Love you guys 😊 Have a great weekend.❤🤗😘🙏
It has been years since I’ve had fondue. Everything looked so good! How can you go wrong with dipping food into yummy melted cheese or chocolate 😆👍🏻 Yes please 🙋🏻♀️ Love the lunch option also. Thanks for sharing!

Love your reviews and love you both. We hope to meet you all sometime this year when we visit from Franklin NC . Just across the mountain from Cherokee. God bless you both ❤️
Love finding out about how fondue got to the USA. Everything looked great but that chocolate is killing me. Would love to have a pot of it now! Christy, Keep dropping the food in the chocolate, that way you get extra chocolate! lol Looks like an amazing date lunch!
Everything looked so delicious ! 😋 especially the chocolate. Now I gotta have something sweet. Loved your video (again) . Thank you so much. Oh by the way, GO BIG ORANGE!! 🍊
Go Big Orange! Thank you Ann! We appreciate you watching! Now let’s get those Vols across the finish line in Omaha and get that national championship! 🍊🍊
No fondue sets were ever recorded in our family history of back woods country folk in the mountains of PA but I did hear of buying oleo that came with yellow dye
I've never done fondue and I don't think my wife has either. Maybe I could surprise her with a date of fonduing. Maybe I could find somewhere near us that does it. And when we're back up in Gatlinburg maybe we could visit the Melting Pot and try their fondue. I would probably double dip since I really love cheese and chocolate. My parents never had a fondue set when I was growing up but I wished they would've. I bet breakfast items would be great dipped in the chocolate especially biscuits because it would make me think of biscuits and chocolate gravy. Have y'all ever had chocolate gravy. I was raised on it starting at an early age up till now. It's delicious.
I saw where there's a Melting Pot in Nashville Tennessee but it's closed until further notice. So do y'all know of a Melting Pot or any place that does fondue near Mississippi. If so would you please let me know.
I love this idea. We had the 4 course years ago. It was great but too much food. I noticed in some reviews that people are saying that they don't make the cheese fondue and chocolate fondue at the table at this location. Is that correct? Where is the best place to park for lunch? Do you know the tax and gratuity they add to your bill? We are trying to figure out how much lunch for 2 would be in total.
Thank you for the information. That's odd that they don't prepare the cheese and chocolate at the table. When we went to a different location years ago they made it at the table.
No they do! We just chose not to get that for lunch. They have all kinds of proteins. Lobster, shrimp, steak, chicken and pork. We just wanted to show a lighter lunch that was very filling
🤣. They aren’t scraps here. They were scraps in the old days. You pay for the experience and we happen to enjoy the experience. There’s no greed here. You have to pay for the setup. The premium food they serve. Staff. Drink. Not to mention all the other overhead all while trying to make a profit. Thanks for watching Steve 😉
@@SmokyMtFaithFoodFun Skin tags point to conditions including insulin resistance, atherosclerosis, cardiovascular disease. Not to mention your obvious morbid obesity.
Wow I didn’t realize it was obvious. Obvious sarcasm. Skin tags are hereditary in my family. I’m under a doctors care now and you obviously don’t know my health story. But you judge the book by its cover and that’s on you. You have many prayers here in our house.
@@jth91 you are nasty human being why are you following them just to say mean things to them hurtful things you must be miserable yourself. You know nothing about there health you definitely need a lot of prayer and what goes around comes around!
