Great Mississippi River Magnet Fishing 

Hello what type of magnet do you have? You will never be able to know 100% of the time if you will loose your magnet, but a person could use a little common sense and make your magnet last longer. I lost one last week, but the water was up 3’ more and my object fell off throwing my magnet under the bridge, where it laid until a boater grabbed it, I’m going to pick up a 3600 lb double sided soon and I believe that is the biggest magnet out there, and I know use a 1500 lb one and would have a back up. Hello I have magnet fished in the Mississippi River, never had a lot of luck, because around here the river is always moving so most of items keeps moving, and it even gets buried.

@@fishmagnetman Have you ever heard of the root river or the Straight river? In southern Minnesota.

I have never heard of them

@@fishmagnetman both the Root river and the Straight river are in southern Minnesota. I know that part of the root river goes through Preston Minnesota and part of the Straight river goes through Owatonna Minnesota. Maybe sometime you would check them out 🙂
