I'm white mexican Chicano. And I was taught about Pachamama's way of life very young from the great Inca. I try my best not to disrespect her land. I grow flower and cactus in AZ. To give back to her. I learned so much from the wisdom you all shared. I won't let you lessons be for nothing. All land is scared.

I grow up by reading comic books about Native Americans and I adore theme ever since. I'm trying to live their way.

I love Native Americans. They're so organic and are closer to nature.

Our two Peoples met over a thousand years ago in the Northeastern portions of Canada/USA. While there was peace and trading, it eventually ended in bloodshed, and my People retreated back to Greenland and Iceland. It's an amazing history to embrace, especially knowing the majority of people still believe Christopher Columbus "discovered" the Americas in 1492 when there were people already living here. Regardless of our initial contact and their dire results, know now that today in 2021, this Germanic/Norse Heathen tribesman embraces and supports two local Native powwows and attends both annually with my wolfdog, Beowulf. I remind myself that we are all more alike than we are different. This current age of division has an unseen puppet master attempting to turn us all against one another based on something as silly as the colors red, white, black, brown, and yellow. Let's come together and end this war, and strive again for peace among People, all People: Americans, Europeans, Africans, and Asians. The only color that matters is that we all bleed red. This can be what unites us As One. I wish to redeem my ancestors who met you 1,000 years ago. Peace will always be superior to war. I will beat my drums in your honor and to recognize the history of our Peoples and the alignment that should've been, could've been, and would've been, if only we understood one another through language and culture. Most of those barriers have been removed in 2021, so there should be nothing stopping us this time around. I will always be the first to offer my hand to help those who seek friendship. And I will always stand up for, and am willing to die for, those who are being abused or taken advantage of in any way. I am a Warrior first. My People were Warriors known by names such as Viking or Teuton. My ancestors were some of the rare few who stood up to the Roman Empire and were never conquered. Their blood runs through my veins. And my blood charges me to act, to help, to defend, and to attack in defense of others. Africans bestowed upon me the boon of my nickname: "The White Lion." Since a small child I have admired Native Americans beliefs regarding nature, mother earth. I remember as a young girl asking many chiefs questions regarding their way of life. I absolutely love that I can learn even after his passing. he taught us a lot and he taught us a war song that my great grandmother use to sing to him. She was beautiful. Her name was Amanda. she was all love as was my grandfather. He was hard core souled with "One bowl one spoon!!" he taught me that and so much more about caring, respecting, and never challenging nature, but to respect it and thank it. and I thank you for this.

So relieved Deb Haaland is in office now. Finally! I’m not Native, but it had been rumored in our family we could be Cherokee. Found out not so. But, I am a Pagan of Scottish and Finnish ancestry. I stick by the Natives of America. I believe in the power of the Earth our Mother. I have wept at times because others don’t understand the harm they cause. In everyday life everything I use or throw out I diligently reuse or compost or recycle. My children do the same. We are farmers. We enjoy working the land, the sunshine, wind and rain.

The older I have gotten, the more I have grown to respect the Indian way of life. America needs balance, we need unity and we need the native culture to take root in the halls of Washington. We are on an unsustainable path as a nation, perhaps we all need to shut up and listen more. We are all human regardless of our heritage but I find more and more that the Indian connection to the earth and the care displayed for it should be a lesson for us all to follow. I don't know where I will be in the years to come but I do know who I want to be with, the very kind of people that respect nature and see more fulfillment in that than the fools gold so many chase today. My husband is Native Hawaiian and his culture is so similar to Native American culture. It all changed for these cultures as soon as Captain Cooke came to Hawaii and Christopher Columbus landed on native soil.
