Jerrod is back with his rc Cherokee plane from Great Planes to demonstrate the landings he promised all of you. And what extremely beautiful landings they are. Way better than Adam's landings. Lol. 😉
I have this Great Planes Cherokee also. I bought it over ten years ago and its still going strong. Its one of my favourites to fly. It has a fourstroke engine and i love to fly it scale. You flew your Cherokee very well. I enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing.
Good Crosswind landing Jarrod and I like the low Runway passes with the Great Planes Cherokee and incredible flying my friend in the Windy Conditions. I like the looks of the the RC Light Civilian Airplanes I think the best that's why I enjoy my Hobbyzone Carbon Cub 1.3 meter and have been flying a few of them Cubs since the Spring of 2016 starting with a couple Parkzone Sport Cubs (Same airframe as the Hobbyzone Carbon Cub but Red and White in Color)😊🛩💯👍
Thank you. The Carbon Cub looks like a really cool plane. I'm sure I'll come across one of my own one day. I'll tell you this, you're not going to see Adam land like this in this kind of windy conditions. Lol.
Nice. I just bought one of these and I'm putting an OS 46ax on it. Can't wait to fly it. Sure am glad I don't have a solid concrete wall at the end of my runway though. :)
Rc Pilots seem to always try using flaps on windy days and when the plane is light to begin with there is just no need for them if anything it will put you into a bad stall faster with flaps on a windy day
Very true. The wind will help slow it down to almost standing still. But here comes the stall. And throttle input just makes it go up. Thanks again for watching and the great input. Note to all us rc pilots out there, don’t be afraid to land with a little speed.
