This music inspires ne to arart writing again. My genre is historcal fiction but do lean to others . In lm life. Um part steamerv and tpirate lol.dergilble sky pirate
I never knew there was steampunk music out there. I like creating manga characters in a steampunk-ish design and just searched up "steampunk music" in hope there´s a genre like that and it´s great! This music is so awesome and perfect for drawing. I am feeling awesome while listening to this :)
Writing a steam punk/futuristicy type novel (not quite sci fi, but also not straight up victorian steam punk). This stuff is awesome. Really like track 2
I feel great listening to this too! I am a writer and it always gets me pumped. Sadly I am not much good with sci fi, but this works in so many different areas.
I listened to this over and over a few years ago, just came across it again and it brought back so many brilliant memories. Truly a musical masterpiece!
Am I the only one who thinks having a Steampunk and or Sky Pirate inspired rpg or mmo would be the greatest game ever made? (except chrono trigger of course!)
sky born is a kind of steampunk type game. the're boats , machinery and a little bit of darkness in there too. the general graphics and set-up is very alike Pokemon. its described as a retro RPG. its for ages twelve , i got it in a 'retro RPG bundle' with three games , deadly sin one and two along with sky born. i personally recommend trying them out at the least , try watching gameplays as it may not be appealing to you. i definitely think your concept would be awesome.
I like that it had a little more of an uplifting feel than a lot of Steampunk music. I wouldn't listen to only this for Steampunk flavor, but it is nice now and again.
I found this playlist 5 years ago, and it was one of my most important inspirations while creating my steampunk universe. It is the biggest and best pojects I ever worked on in my life! Thank You for creating this❤️
I'm relatively new to the current Steampunk genre, but I grew up on scifi, past worlds, present, and future worlds. To me this music totally typifies Steampunk. The epic grandeur, the mystery, the innovation, the hopelessness of facing long odds, beating the odds, the harnessing of the elements forces...... Major kudos on this music!!!!
I ended up listening to the whole thing during a reading session, and when reading steampunk fiction having something that can match that theme is really nice. Good work on this!
Beyond brilliant music, as always! This one really captures the vibes of our friendly alien guides hovering up there above us, in their air-ships where we also were, once upon a time ♡♡♡
Some musicians are good in their genre. Good muaicians are perfect in one genre and good in countless others. You guys are perfect in EVERY genre out there. You have my utmost respect
I love this music!! I didn't listen to this piece at first since I usually don't like steampunk, but I found out I literally love EVERYTHING you guys compose!!!!! I can't believe I found a RU-vid channel as great as this!!!! ;^)
A great collection. Uplifting and adventurous- For those who think steampunk tunes should be 'darker', I'll have to agree & disagree. You can have both. Its very effective to set your story in a gritty, distopic world, that makes the advent of brilliant adventures just that much more powerful. These tunes would go well with events like in 'Sirens & Skullduggery' when Molly is swept up from the sooty streets of London and taken off to have wild adventures in a pirate airship. -- Escaping murderous thugs and police. Sweeping across the clear sky overlooking the drab, smoky city which has been her prison for all the years of her young life. Heading off to a wild life of wealth and violence. This type of music makes great background when you write adventures. Inspiring stuff!

Your guys music is my absolutely favorite music in the entire world!! I'm going to show everyone I know how awesome your guys music is because its just that perfect~
☺ It reminds me of Treasure Planet and Pirates of the Caribbean (the Steampunk part) at the same time because, well, it's pirate-y and futuristic! And the Futuristic ones remind me of Halo :D Thank you, Derek & Brandon! I look forward to more of your music! ☺
+ForeverTheElf Thanks! Yes, Steampunk Spies is a really interesting tune. I'm not sure if there are that many tunes that sound similar to it. :) - Brandon -
Jesus, how many things like this do you have? I've already listened to the elf one and I LOVED it, and now steampunk...wow. Just...wow. I especially liked Planet Xynon.
I'm not all that interested in Steampunk, but I gotta say, this list is awesome! Good work, sirs! Do you think you could do Gaslamp fantasy music as well?
Bentein Bjerke Thanks! Yes, I wasn't very interested in Steampunk until two years ago. As for your idea, that is really interesting. I'll have to think about it. :) - Brandon -
The steampunk side of the "CD" reminds me more of classic 2D side scrollers then what I traditionally associate with Steampunk (although I suppose it could work for more "Age of Adventure" style stories) but the sci-fi side feels spot on.
Derek & Brandon Fiechter I just tried listening to some other steampunk song collections (by other authors), and what I heard was god-awful. Whatever you imagine steampunk to be, it looks to be a huge improvement on the genre. Keep up the good work, guys!!!
The Firework Yep! It's my first time writing something ''bloody'' my stories are usually just cute and innocent but this music helps me in imagining and gives me some inspiration! I wish the readers could also hear the music :(
Olive Oyle Thanks! I'm so glad you liked it. We'll definitely continue composing more music ... hopefully, more steampunk music sometime. :) - Brandon -
Thanks to that music I`m having feeling of flying on an airship. And intro to steampunk spies has the feel of anime Lupin III. It`s a such touching music. Thanks to it I`ve decided to run rpg Gaslight i OGL Steampunk. I`ve got the great feel for that now.
Anyone know more of this kind of (steampunk) music? Other steampunk music is more gritty, this is just so happy and heroic (and orchestral); I really need more music of this quality.
Living in a world of steampunk high invention or a world of futuristic of high tech, if you could only pick one...? And personally.....I think I would have to go with the futuristic world of high tech. It just calls to me that little bit more.
