Watched your chair video about a year ago, concept rower video today, and now this. You've been super helpful for the info I am looking for in reviews, nothing else out there like this. Subscribed! Keep bringing the 🔥 my man.
Thank you for this video. Just come across their ad on FB and needed a review. Definitely purchasing them. Hopefully they’ll be in the mail by the Fourth!
@@FreakyTallReviews gave them a week or so and liked them so much, I bought a second pair! Thanks for the review. Because of you, I’ve finally found sunglasses that I like wearing. Enjoy the long holiday weekend!
@@TJAlcaraz Glad to hear that! The smell when you first get them definitely takes a while to go away, but for the cost they're a solid pair of sunglasses that are comfortable on the head!
Kinda creepy, I saw an ad for these glasses this morning on Instagram and had never heard of them before, then tonight I see your video. Might have to try these out as I also wear a size 8 hat and have a hard time finding frames that don't feel like they are flexing outwards when I put them on. Keep up the great work!
You have to check out Bison Head Sunglasses. They fit big heads. I have 2 pairs. I've had them for a few years and they are great. I wear a size 7-7/8 to 8 hat.
Surprisingly I have the same head dimensions as you. I think they fit very well, but I wish(hope) they had an option for better lenses, including glass and prescription. The glasses fit great but I'm not fan of the grey lens. I'd prefer a higher contrast and dynamic color range.
Mine just arrived. They are not wide at all . The arms are way too short. They don't sit on my nose , no adjustment or pads. Feel cheap. Thin plastic lenses that distort what you are looking at. The import documents list the value as 14USD which is the most anyone should pay. I got ripped off. The best I can say is their marketing is really good.
Hello. I have a big head and have been using Fatheadz for years. But they have gone way up in price and I don't think the quality is as good on their new style as it was on their old ones. I am definitely going to try Detours glasses. I am also going to try Bison Heads. They seem to have some nice styles and a variety of colors. Thanks man.
I've ordered a pair of the Tortoise Shell. Cost 66.40 NZD after a 10% discount. Will be really happy if the quality is good. Nice you got them for free. I'll let you know if they brought your review/soul or not. 😆 I like your channel. Go sit in some cars and review them for big guys. I'm 6'4 and 350lbs and all the auto reviewers are tiny and make the cars look huge. 😆 Would be nice to see someone else cracking their head and fighting to get the seats back.
it's great that you featured the average measurements, but the leftmost number is the 1st percentile, as in only 1% of men are 13.1cm temple to temple. The 50th percentile or median is 14.5. So if your face is 14.5cm wide this chart says 50% of men are smaller than you and 50% are larger. There is no average provided nor are there citations for this data, considering other studies done in this field are usually very niche and with small sample size, such as 2000 army recruits or 1200 factory workers from a single ethnicity. It's value for any given person (or sunglasses designer) to figure out what's average is diminished. I suspect wider faces are a lot more common, like a lot, but in terms of statistics this may not make much of a bump because while human physiology has upper limits, it has no lower limits, a persons head/face can stop growing at any size between infant and full potential, in other words there would be a lot of smaller sizes pulling the average down. Anyway, I think it's crazy how limited for size sunglasses are in general, maybe theyre trying to save on cost of materials?
There's going to be a little flexing as the end of the arms goes around your temple, but the material of these frames will not allow a true bend, like say, metal would. If I legitimately had to bend them to get them on, then I would share that and call attention to it.
