The Great Tit (Parus major) is a small, colorful bird known for its yellow breast and black head pattern. Found across Europe, Asia, and parts of North Africa, it thrives in various habitats, from forests to urban areas. Great Tits are active and vocal, with a wide range of calls and songs. They are omnivorous, feeding mainly on insects, but sometimes seeds, and are known for their clever behavior, such as tool use. Great Tit are secondary cavity breeders (breed in cavities but do not know how to excavate them) and both parents share the task of feeding the nestlings.
