Great White Shark Ipswich Bay While out trolling for blue fish we came across this awesome animal. Hope everyone enjoys our adventure. Subscribe to follow us along the way!
Best part about this video is the Dad who is so cool and let’s the kids continue to captain away and enjoys the experience with them. Great father right there
It looks more like a basking shark fin, don't think that's a great white fin. Being Australian I've seen a lot of white sharks. It's just the wrong shape in my opinion. Looks like you had a nice day though.
I live in Nova Scotia Canada.. island of cape Breton...if you want to see big white sharks come here in summer months bluefin tuna season...huge white sharks..tons of seals up here to...
You need to fly to Halifax international then drive 3half hours to cape Breton...I work as a harbour Master hear lots of story's off sharks I had one under my boat two years ago...my bost was 18 ft...it was bigger than my bost..no kidding...tuna fisherman are losing there fish to sharks ..eat them before they land them
Largest shark they taged up here was 21feet ....but there is bigger....tuna fisherman can tell you...last year 3 tuna were eatin by sharks as the fisherman tryed to land them....first time it ever happen 3 times in one day
Great team work guys! Makes me miss being on the water with my Dad at that age 💕 🌊 Anything with a wake that big behind it is DEFINITELY a big fish!! 🦈 Great video boys👍
Captain Quin is the bloke talking one of the young ones is matt hooper he's driving the boat and the other young one is cheif broody dishing the bait out
Awesome video, thanks for posting it. 2 years ago we took the boat from Plymouth to P town early in the morning and the ocean was calm like this. We saw 4 great whites. One came right up to the boat with his mouth wide open, I never saw anything like it, wow. On the way back later in the day the water was choppy and you could not see their fins, but you know they are there. They do a seal count in Cape Cod Bay every summer. 3 years ago , 30,000, 2 years ago 55,000, last year too many to count. We now have seals here year round because the ocean is warmer.
@@cyfinnoutdoors9284 yep I’ve been wanting to set up a go-pro on a pole. I’d like to have one for this summer as I go on long Scalloping trips out of the port of New Bedford and seen plenty sharks out there just not the Great white as there more of a shallow water hunter.
Glad you *DIDN'T* have chum ya goon. We don't want these things associating humans with feeding time. They're already swimming +/- 20 yards from the beach up and down the Cape.
The most impressive thing in this video is the relationship that this father has with his boys. 40 years from now, God willing, they’ll be sitting around the Thanksgiving table talking about the time they saw a Great White shark up close and personal while fishing.
Doubtful. Not once do you see the tail fin break water, very unusual. Dorsal is a shape I've never seen. As incredibly agile as they are they have not yet evolved into a creature that moves sideways too....just sayin..
You are incorrect sir. New England is loaded with Great Whites. That was certainly a great white. Other species of sharks do not stick around for that long.
@@guyinpajamapants6892 I'm not disputing New England being loaded with any species or their behavioural patterns. What I am noting is that this particular footage looks very very strange to me as someone who knows the difference between the dorsal of say, a Hammerhead, a Blue, a Tiger etc etc. That fin reminds me of the 'cut out' kids used in the jaws movies. It does not look to me like it belongs to a great white (or any other for that matter). The movement through the water moves sideways to my eye which is extremely unlikely for any forward going creature. Just when you think you will see something conclusive about the footage - it all drops away conveniently. There are some strange people on youtube with some strange motives. I could be wrong but I doubt the validity of this footage. If I am wrong I apologise ...but...
amazing you got to see this shark, but next time you see a shark i would recommend you don't chase it it just stresses the poor thing out, but still your pretty lucky you saw it, most people get extremely close and don't notice
Can’t seem to find anyone local who knows-But does anyone know if there are big sharks in Quincy Harbor? More specifically by Weymouth? I kayak out of Fore River Area but am very aware that there could be 🦈 around!
@@cyfinnoutdoors9284 So I know there are sand tiger shark nurseries around where I kayak..but I’m more concerned about the great whites! Downloaded sharktivity app showing alot of great whites by Nantasket Beach but for somw reason they don’t seem to come near me at Fore River. However they always could! 🥵
I wouldn't anoy him/her. If I had my children on a boat like that probably take a quick look and then go in the other direction. Looking like the dad new what he was doing, but when he said just keeping up with this shark,. Maybe its not a good idea.
It’s just a shame you chased the poor things. Kind of hope someone does that to you all one day. See how nice it feels for you. Bet it’s just as scary and stressful, as you three chasing the sharks. :}
