i watched a video of a woman and some guys going to bimini on sea doos (which was awesome) and decided to search for more videos on making this trip and found your series. i absolutely love them! your videos have been very inspirational on getting out there in life no matter what your budget is and just exploring and enjoying life with the ones we love. Thank You and god bless. (what football team did you play for? what years?)

They had a huge Great White in the area back in the mid 70's... It was all over TV for a long time and got very famous. It must have passed of old age.

When I was a kid vacationing in South Jersey we ended up in the water about 20-30ft away from a gang of full grown tiger sharks they were about 8-12ft long once the lifeguards got everyone out of the water we all went up on the peir to snap pictures of them

Always enjoy your videos my wife and I were up in Jupiter Florida in July at the blow holes rocks, seen a couple of sharks just off the beach had to warn swimmers that we’re coming in with children to the beach that we seen two large sharks and stay out of the water I’m sure the kids were disappointed all the best for Carl Springs Florida Victor and Cathy

Juvenile GWS tend to feed almost exclusively on fish - adult GWS feed on marine mammals, which is where the issue is. The majority of GWS tracked off of Maine in the summer are juveniles, without only a few adults venturing near shore that far north. Maine is not known for it's GWS attacks on humans (the first ever recorded deadly attack happened last summer). If you really want to investigate GWS in close proximity to humans - go down to SoCal in mid/late summer - you can usually find 10-15 juvenile GWS hanging just outside the surf break on several Orange County beaches.

As someone who boats and dives alot I've been in the water with lots of different sharks. I've been in the water though not intentionally with great whites before. Though nervous have never had a incident with them. 2 sharks that when diving i immediately get out of the damn water for when I see them is hammer heads and tiger sharks. Tiger sharks and hammer heads see us as food and are aggressive. Great whites do not actively see us as food and when they do bite us is usually a case of mistaken identity and spit us out. Although if a white hits you you prolly still gonna die even if it was a mistake lol. They are just that big.

Do you ever find yourself out with the Scout and see another boat speed by and wish IF ONLY I HAD THE MTI! when I had two boats it seemed like I was never in the right one.

Go out fishing using live bait for sea bass using shiners hooked through the back so they swim, catching a good 4 pound fish then having a Cobia cut it in half 10 yards from the boat. Whenever I fish the Tangier Sound, it's a guarantee that you're going to get into a couple of sharks as well as some large skate. Oh and the factory ships guided by aircraft for menhaden. Just looked at the Maine regulations for Striped Bass, I'd fish some place else. Nice boat and glass panel for putting around.

Omg y'all are so lucky I wanna see a great white so bad hard to see them in FL y'all should get a fake seal and pull it behind the boat like they do on discovery tht would be awesome lol love your channel
