Keeping cool in those kinds of circumstances is the best thing to do ,to start flapping around and emitting sounds to the shark that resemble a wounded prey or fish is not recommended.
Jesus H. Christ I hope you learned your lesson and stay the hell out of the freakin' ocean! My heart's still pounding after watching that! Awesome vid!
I was an Army clearance diver for 3 years and I have seen every shark at least once on all my dives. Once I was discharged I have never dived again or gone into the sea.
Lol. At first I thought you had balls of steel... then at the end I see the chicks out there paddling around as well and concluded it’s just another day of crazy people at the beach. Great video. Hope they all have the same ending where you can upload what you filmed with all your limbs still attached.
bro sharks are chill. just always watch them and be calm. back in the 80's South Africa was full of them. we would see them under our boards. nothing to worry about
I had a 6 foot shark, 3 feet from me in water waist deep off Tybee Island, Georgia. I still don't know what kind it was and I never go out past ankle deep now.
Yeah she was some sort of marine biologist. I said to her, "Hey this thing is only 9 or 10 feet long so it can't really hurt us right?" She replied, "No this thing can fuck us up!" I paddled in 2 minutes later. haha
Yeah, a bit different from your usual format, but we like seeing what you are still up to! Thanks for the footage. It just assures me why I don't go in the ocean anymore. And yes, sharks can smell piss and crap!
Because of a population explosion of seals, there has been a significant rise in the number of sharks off the coast of Cali. Coupled with the fact that Cali is becoming the new Guadeloupe for Great Whites.
I always understood , they hung around Australia , but for the last twenty years or more , they are even being seen around new England states . New Jersey , Long island on so on . The way I got it figured , if your going die anyway . Poke it in the eye , with your index finger.

Shark attacks are like being struck by lightening, its really unlikely to be struck by lightening, but your odds increase significantly if your standing on top of a building during a thunderstorm with a 100 foot metal rod. Thats what hes doing here lol.
I think Bill Burr said it best , he said " My friend told me that 80 Percent of all shark attacks happen in less than 5 foot of water. I said , well no shit , that is where all the people are. Its not like people jump in the ocean and say , well see ya later , I'm swimming to France." It was something like that , hell of a comedian. Someone on a topic on facebook said that you are more likely to die from a coconut falling on you or something else crazy than get attacked by a shark. I said yeah , no shit , cause humans spend like 99 percent of time on earth on Land. If you spent 50 percent of ya time in the ocean while alive , I guarantee you that the likelyhood of shark attack increase greatly over coconut deaths.
@@theartmannchannel Much respect to you for keeping your cool. Just like Bill Murray's character in the film, you kept your cool under pressure. I, on the other hand, would have frozen like the gopher!
1:02 There are other people paddle boarding towards the shark just to have a look know one seems scared its not a big deal anyway sharks usually leave you alone
Dude, how could you stay so calm, i'm thinking, man, slap that paddle and scare her off, not seen in video is probably mom or pops' 15+ footer waiting for ya, hope you had a drink when you got to shore.
The Art Mann Channel see that, theyre like deer, when one darts out infront of you, SLOW DOWN, more gonna be coming across your path, glad you're safe, my butt cheeks were clenched just watchin you, lmao 😂
Right you are, Tony. That very thing happened to a couple of young women on Cape Cod a few years back. They were kayaking about a half mile off shore when "bam!" they were both upended by a Great White who hit them from underneath. Kayaks flew up and overturned and they were dumped in the water. Scared the crap out of them, understandably, but as usual, it was a case of mistaken identity. As soon as the shark realized they weren't a seal, it moved on. Luckily, the women had a cell phone in a waterproof bag, and were able to call for help. Probably the longest half hour of their lives waiting for the harbor master to get to them.
I didn't get a good shot of it but the water was pretty much empty besides me and the marine biologists. Everyone was standing on the shore watching, there were a couple of sharks going back and forth for a good 45 minutes, was amazing to see. When I got back to shore people were yelling at some assclowns that were throwing rocks at the sharks.
WHAT!? How are the two Girls on Paddle Boards, pretty much paddling right up to where the Great White Shark is! Were they oblivious to the Shark??? (See at 1:03 or so... Towards the end of the video...)
romanek shark said little bitch you can't fuck wit me if you wanted to these expensive these is red bottoms these is bloody shoes. That's what the shark jamming to under there as he stares at his feet bahahah.
