All fish need moving water over their gills to breath. That's why they either swim ccntinuosly when sleeping face currents which pass water over their gills

I do think they will figure it out if it’s an oxygenation issue im surprised some shady aquarium hasn’t just caught one and traded them out after a period of time just to make the crazy money they would off of it

I remember years ago the Aquarium in San Francisco had a great white shark

What they cant make a current or aerate the water? Make it like a lazy river....

It is not hard to make a strong current in a massive circular tank..

They're not the only ones? I have yet to see Mako's, Tiger's, or Hammerhead's as well in them, and for the same reason(s)!

It’s sad that humans trap dolphins and killer wales for pleasure. These ocean going travellers are very intelligent, gregarious and mobile. Being trapped in a large bathtub is torture and disgusting.

AKA you don't need to have dolphins or their cousin the Orca in aquariums either I still find that kind of messed up to take an animal the size of an orca and put it in a tank, it's the same as putting a human being on 24/7 lockdown in a Cell that's an 8 by 8 with no TV, isn't it crazy that we do that to our own species ? But when a person loses their mind from that it's their fault but when an orca loses their mind from it a million different reasons are given why, and the orcas defended, I think keeping any smart animal whether it's a mammal or it's a intelligent whatever I don't understand why we as humans do this to ourselves and to our closest relatives AKA chimps and gorillas and then can't stop at that and have to go at the most intelligent creatures in the ocean, there's your proof in the pudding right there as to how bad it is when you do that to a human especially if that human is innocent. It's literally torture, so when you hear an actual creature that can communicate with you and tells you how bad and how messed up in the brain it makes them and not only that you can see what it does to them now imagine you're doing this to a species that can be just as intelligent as some humans, and definitely smart as some humans at a certain age group and call it okay inhumane. The world is twisted
