We're having a family fun day at Great Wolf Lodge Hotel, located near Charlotte in Concord, NC! Join us on this tour. I'm going to walk you through the activities and the visitor passes. We'll see whether or not it's worth it.
Great Wolf Lodge is in the Charlotte North Carolina area and is a great place for kids and families. If you're looking for fun things to do in Charlotte during the winter then this is the place. We had so much fun at this indoor water park in Concord during the holidays for some winter fun.

We're a family of 4 (kiddos 6 and almost 3) and went to the location in the Pocono Mountain last year. We loved it so much we're actually going back in a month. The passes are great depending on the interest of those going. Last year we only had wolf passes for the two kids and ended up having to pay for each individual activity for ourselves. This time we got the wolf pass for each of us, and an all day meal deal available at our location. It makes it a much more all-inclusive feel. Apart from upgrades, souvenirs, and alcoholic beverages everything will be paid for upfront.

I made the mistake of taking my niece and stepdaughter to the GWL in Virginia back in October 2023. I call it a mistake because I didn't realize what I had started; both started begging to go back so went again a weeks ago to the one in PA (my niece lives near that one). it was a kept a secret and they were so excited when we pulled in. And so now I'm thinking about taking them for New Years, but to the one in NC (where we live) which brought me to your video. It makes me feel more confident this will be an enjoyable experience.

Yes, helpful! Thank you! 🙏🏼 I just booked a last minute road trip to this same Great Wolf 🐺 location for my daughter and I, this week. They had a discount on rooms and I’ve always wanted to take her, she’s 8 now so I think it’s the perfect age for her to really enjoy, (and actually remember), the experience! I’m so excited to take her! But from what I’ve read on their website, the laser tag game is not available anymore as of this past August. So that’s a bummer. But after watching your video we are both even more excited now about our adventure! Thank you!

I've been here twice and I would DEFINITELY recommend. I will warn that you should try to not get the pool water in your mouth, as it will irritate your throat. Buckets (the pool restaurant) has a huge sundae. Please split it amongst friends/family. If you visit after you've done a few quests in MagiQuest, the wand saves your progress. If you have any furry accessories, now is the time to use them. Ears, tails, whatever, to ahead and wear it with pride.

What about dirty water contamination? People are peeing and pooping in this water all day, every day. I just can't imagine putting myself and my kids in this water. It looks like a lot of fun and this was a great tour!

I'll thumbs up on that too (no poop was there) , however it was fun and very, very chlorinated. I grew up having fun at these places and have been used to sharing pools and whatnot since I grew up in NYC. There were at least 300 people in the pool during the summers. I get it, but it doesn't scare me. I'm healthy and happy, and thank God have never gotten anything from a public pool. You can't do these places if the fear overcomes the fun. Hope you return for more family fun videos that don't involve sharing bath water.

@@aelmaecruz3179 I have my own pool and do not go to public pools or water facilities at all. They are filthy and contaminated with more bacteria than can be treated. So nasty! My own pool is more fun b/c I know who is stinking it up.

If you did not know this is a thing our family learned on our like 3rd visit Idk if they still do this but in concord, at great wolf lodge you can get the Dunkin Donuts delivered to your room. I think they put the info on how to do it on the things that can go on the door this is so helpful cause the Dunkin Donuts at Great Wolf Lodge is always so packed.

Not sure how old the franchise is, but this location was built in 2009. Disney is humungous and can't do everything in one day. After a few days we were done. The water was draining. No pun intended.

The activities were definitely at a discount with the passes, but if you don't do everything on the list, you won't get your money's worth from the pass.
