I went here from Monday 12th August untill Monday 26th August with 5 adults in my cavervan and 3 adults and 1 child in anther cavervan and it was mine and one of our friends 1st time going there and we all had a amazing 2 weeks away x😊
We go G/Y twice a year and gave done for the last 30 odd years (even before I was born), however we always go Seashore as it’s closer to the Town and walking distance. There’s more to do at Seashore.
I am now in my 70s and stayed at Caister and California Cliffs many times. Haven’t been for a few years but going to Caister in a Bronze caravan in September. Can’t wait!!
We visit Caister Haven every year . We have a 5 year old so its just perfect lots for him to do . My husband also likes to do a bit of sea fishing so its a great location . Infact we are off there in less than 2 weeks . We are also from essex .
Have you been to Hopton in lowestoft or Seashore? Seashore has more to do and has a bigger beach, but Hopton is more peaceful with some lovely fountains and a big lake up in the golf village by the lodges (there's two fountains there too). You can walk up there and sit on the decking by the water or even to feed the ducklings/ducks. There's another pond on your way up there too, and I highly recommend their beach it's absolutely lovely! There's also a coastal path or a path up by the golf course that you can walk along which leads into Gorleston. So if you love the walking and wildlife (like you mentioned in your Hafan video) then I'd definitely recommend checking out Hopton.
Hopton has the most special place in my heart - my parents used to own a caravan at Hopton, so I spent every weekend and school holidays there for quite a few of my childhood years 🥰
@@JourneysWithSamoh wow! That's lovely. It would be my dream to own a caravan there. What part of the park did they have their caravan on? I've been going since I was 10 (28 now) and I absolutely love it, it's like a second home to me. I usually love bigger and busier Haven parks especially when I take the kids, but for a few nights away with my mum and sister then Hopton is my go to. I'm off to Devon Cliffs next month with the kids and I can't wait, it's lovely there too. 😊
I used to work here in the gift shop and enjoyed working here. I’m born & bred Yarmouth and wondered what attracts it to you and to those who visit? I guess I see it in a different way to others but I’m intrigued what it is. Enjoyed the video though 😊
