This was my favorite bird as a child, even though I only ever had illustrations of them to look at. Didn't even have access to a photo. Thank you for posting this! Also, their "I'm about to get me some" beep is like Beaker from the Muppet Show, except MORE so, if that makes any sense.

This is very wonderful islands for the birds, Indonesian birds are beautiful. Sulawesi (Celebes), Kalimantan (Borneo), Maluku, Aru, Irian Jaya (Papua), including New Guinea is best birds colorful and very amazing sounds it has... God is Great. Masyallah.

Pretty much all birds do. They don't need to feel the pleasure like humans. They just have the instinct to mate and keep reproducing and keep their species going.
