I just read Hosea. I barely understood...and I've been chasing a relationship, almost subconsciously and borderline obsessively (in thought) that I do believe God told me no to. I've been receiving messages to repent but I don't think my heart was in the proper position for true repentance until now. Although I spoke the words of turning away, my eyes continued to "look over the fence." I have chased relationships for peace and fulfillment.. I have men chasing me lustfully but none love me and I do feel like nobody really loves me.. I'm turning back and chasing God again. I hope for strength to not turn away again. Thank God for Jesus. That I am able to be forgiven and eventually free from chasing a relationship. 🙌

I meant to say that I was not correcting you at all, in the least or the slightest. I hope you understood me that way. The concept of abuse is very nuanced and I would love for more people to be aware least they fall into the same pit I did. That is all. Most people, me included, doesn't seem to understand how they ended up in an abusive relationship. Only in hindsight. I couldn't stand in a union with a lie anymore and didn't see how our marriage was honoring God or a good model to our daughter. I was tired of crying for his heart to soften against me. I guess I just can't deal my feelings of condemnation over going back on my oath to God that I would not leave him. I am also of the understanding that I am not to marry again. Mercifully, this is not at the forefront of my mind anymore. I used to desperately want a second chance and hoped that God would have mercy for me. (Just wanted to say that I am aware.)

My husband prefers his family sisters brothers and mom first and then wife and kids, I got tired of been second, I have always prayed to God to guide me and give wisdom every day to keep going, He will does in his time.

Awesome sermon, one thing I don’t like is how the end is always cut off. I be in the feeling of the word/ Holy Spirit then it’s cut off. Maybe wait til the service is over to end it.

I will never believe that a person a woman normally would have to stay in an abusive marriage while they're being beaten emotionally abused this goes without saying there's no way as a child of God that our heavenly father would ever want his child a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and savior treated in such a manner and I do believe that person does not love you you don't abuse and hurt something you love it isn't the leaving of the person or divorcing it is the remarrying again what's the word of God teaches against I have been there in more ways than one then you could believe and there was no other choice but to go otherwise I would have died at the hands of the abuser and I will say being mentally emotionally abused is absolutely unacceptable I do believe in the eyes of our heavenly father I believe this subject needs a lot more study as well as consideration when it comes to the word of God the word of God tells me for a husband who is in Christ should love his wife as Christ loved the church and died for it no exception there is absolutely no place for abuse of any kind in a marriage infidelity adultery physical abuse emotional abuse to the degree that it is destroying the other person I speak from experience believe me if there was a way to stay I would have I gave it everything I had to give to no avail... just as Jesus never had that homosexuality is a sin abomination no more would he have to say that a woman or a man but more likely in most cases a woman has to stay while she's being beaten and abused and neglected I believe it is just a given due to other scriptures that are spoken by our Lord and savior it covers all of that

This word is so good! So many people are living in exactly what you’re speaking of. I was there a year ago and Gods hand of deliverance has transformed and renewed my life.🙏🏽🙌He is so good! He is so Faithful! He is my King, Protector, Provider, Savior, Redeemer,Peacemaker & Faithful Father to His daughter!❤

My husband who professes to be saved, I am also saved, wants a divorce. He just doesn’t want to be married anymore. I am so heartbroken and confused. Please pray for God’s will for us.

Dear pastor Bobby, I have questions - mostly because I am a single mother and hope to raise my daughter to be smarter and have better awareness and make better choices. What are the duties of a wife that Paul wrote about? (Context: God made Eve for Adam as a companion and to be his helper. God appointed the man as the head of the family and Paul said that both the man and woman should submit to each other. I grew up in church as well and was just taught that women should submit to their husbands.) What are the biblical rights of a wife? (Considering that I am not reading the typical and traditional vows in the Bible. 'To have and to hold, to protect and love, for better or worse.' Where is this in the Bible for my reference?) Lastly I would like to say that I respect your position in your community and therefore agree wholeheartedly with everything that you are preaching so, please do not misinterpret me. The bodily threat of physical violence is not the only indicator of abuse and I do not think that this is talked about. Some people will use our threshold for reality to their advantage and our demise*. I fervently state that that is the province of abuse and a situation that is not always apparent before you marry this person. And of course I need healing in body, mind and spirit. I used to joke that maybe there is not a man brave enough to take this bull by the horns, until I listened to what it is that I am really saying. Now I am thinking all of this is...I don't know but I do see that we have not been, no, I have not been focused on what Paul said that our war is against. Not flesh and blood but against the rulers. And today we just say, 'oh how sad. The legislation in schools.' But what are we doing about it? Crying about marrying. I dare say that I am not at war against the enemy at all. Ephesians 6:12

I'm 14 years old and have already been exposed to the spirit of lust. My parents have taught me about God and I feel like I have disappointed them and myself by letting my emotions get the better of me. After watching this sermon I felt excepted again and not rejected, thank you pastor, God bless you truly.

I have been struggling with understanding certain topics and stories from the bible and I now have a little bit better of an understanding of Hosea. God is really with you and he is starting to break down walls and chain s in my heart and mind. Thank you.
