always love this song since as a child since I was born with cerebral palsy and doctor told my mom when I was 3 that I would live past 16 if I did I would brain dead Praise the Lord I turn 45 this year.
The writer of this tremendous song, Ray Overholt, ended up losing his vision, the use of his legs, was ravaged by health problems up to his passing a few years ago...but, NOW HE IS LIVING THE FINAL PORTION OF HIS SONG WITH JESUS IN HEAVEN!
Possibly the best piano intro to a song I've ever heard. I really enjoy Stan Whitmire's piano playing. I really enjoyed the enthusiasm and timing of the lead singer along with Gerald Wolfe and the bass guitar and vocalist whose name escapes me right now. I had never heard this song before and now my wife teases me because I have watched it over 100 times and I never get tired of hearing it. I've known blind people at church, several deaf people, numerous people with handi-caps and it is such a comforting thought that the sufferings of this present world are not worthy to be compared to the glory which shall be revealed in us. I know all Christians have some ailment or another that they can't wait to get rid of in "Hallelujah Square" Thank you Greater Vision for this song and so many more you sing that give the praise and glory to the One who deserves all the praise and glory.
Love this song. Sure this group can sing but this version was so slow, dragged out and broken up , it just was unbearable. Love the normal version much better
