It's wild to think how much cooler and more creative alternate skins look in Tekken 8 compared to Street Fighter 6 and especially MK1. And that's not even taking the fact that you have to pay money for said skins in those two other games. Bro, the craziest part is that for most older Tekken fans, the customization here is actually just a point compared to the past entries like Tekken 6 or TT2. So the fact that we're seeing so much cool and dare I say accurate redesigns of cares from other games, movies and animes goes to shows how versatile this character design palette can be with this engine in these character models. If Bandai Namco decides to add more stuff from past character outfits from previous games to even just more generic outfits, we can have what looks to be the best custom character simulator ever made.

Tekken 8 absolutely knocked out out of the park. The gameplay feels buttery smooth, visuals look out of this world in unreal engine 5, and a story mode looks to be the best ever came out of the fighting game genre. The netcode was even improved from the beta, a rare cry from most AAA games nowadays. Plus with all the train options along with can see of ghost battles there's just so much you can do for any type of player. It's insane. Everything feels well thought out and actually worthy of a modern game. It might very well just be the best Tekken, if not one of the greatest fighting games ever released. The fact that we're not even a weekend in and we've already seen a whole variety of different customization options for different characters that go from movie stars to various gaming icons to such a specific, accurate degree goes to show how much replayability and creativity this game allows us, despite the fact that we all seemingly thought the customization options were disappointing compared to the past entries. After Street fight 6's recent monetization issues and Mortal Kombat 1s... _everything,_ it's great to see the last of the big three deliver a fine game that truly deserves to be called AAA. The bar for fighting games and 2024 gaming has yet again been raised, and I'm excited for the future. Now please Harada, put Tifa and Yuji Itadori in the game I'm begging you.

My favorite character customizations would have to be The Forger Family from Spy x Family, Mario (everyone’s favorite Italian plumber), Sub Zero + Scorpion, Yujiro Hanma, Peter Griffin, Senator Armstrong, and Buzz Lightyear.

As a fan of Tekken 8 and the Tekken franchise I love everything it has to offer however there’s one thing that I can’t stand for is the way that Jin’s karate gi alts along with other fighters customization options is so limited with its options and creativity. I believe that when it comes to character customization tekken 8 does a fantastic job at allowing the player to make costumes and outfits for there mains, however when it comes to a few characters and the alternate costumes it can be very lack luster and very limited to how someone can change the way they want a specific alt to look for example; Jin’s destroyer karate bottoms alt and Tk8 alternate B outfits are very limiting to the way you can customize the way it looks even as to removing the option of changing the color of his flames and patterns of his alt. This message isn’t to bash or hate the customization of the game but rather saying as a community and fans of the series that we shouldn’t stand for such lower qualities within customization especially with the way tekken 7 allowed for special alt customization. Please help get this message to Bandai to show our love for the Tekken community and how much we wanna see the game get better and better.
