The moment when the community makes better maps than the developers themselves. And even more original. The only forest map of 343i is pale compared to this guardian remake... And it's "just" forged.

Sylvanus (aka Guardian Reimagined) plays incredibly well for 4v4, and with some sandbox changes, it could easily be a ranked map added to the game. It’s easily my favorite forge map made in this game. Maybe 343 will add it to matchmaking 🤷🏽♂️
Honestly 343 should just make a forge playlist within the mainstream gamemodes. (I’m not sure if this is already a thing, so be free to roast me in the comments)
Once water is in proper volumes I plan to make an underwater shipwreck map with air pockets that change certain physics depending if you're underwater or not.
Wholeheartedly agree, they can maintain this game for a lot of time only with forge, but with more support from the devs like they’ve been doing this past months… this can be the ultimate halo experienc
@@SPITSPHIRE halo thrives off of large maps with its vehicle play. With the respawn mechanisms thats been leaked about the upcoming br, I actually think halo could make the BR formula work well without the baggage we normally associate with BR. A lot of people seem worried that the BR will replace traditional Halo MP, and it most certainly will not. But getting a chance to roam a MASSIVE multiplayer map with some light PvE to compliment the PvP experience sounds pretty great to me
Honestly I was thinking more of a bigger btb playlist with maps like this. 32v32 since 64v64 would be out of the picture unfortunately. I wouldn’t mind a br either, idk why it’s so hated.
I kinda want them to add some more of the more unorthodox maps like Phaseshift (the one where you can switch between night and day timeline) tbh Don't get me wrong I LOVE the squad battle playlist and the forge maps added have been excellent but for most of them I've already played in previous Halo games So I'd love for something new and experimental
Longshore and InfiniteForge’s new Headlong remake NEED to be added to Squad Battle! They’re both stunning. That Guardian reimagining is insane as well, that should just be added to Arena it looks so much like a dev map.

Oh btw earth city isn’t based just on the halo 5 war zone map but it’s actually 5 in one that you can bookmark individually I’m pretty sure just for each section
That Guardian map is exactly what I was hoping for a lot of old 4v4 maps, a slight adjustment to accommodate for Infinite’s gameplay I still think a classic playlist would be great, classic maps, classic movement (like the CHL maps in customs) they force a classic movement on the players and it actually plays great on old maps like Guardian and Lockout

The guardian remake might be one of my favourites. Uneeqs and flacos are both good, but the stylistic changes and ups along just makes it play better and feel better
Just imagine if Halo waited to release up until this point. Man, it would be crushing the charts. But I'm glad we still made it here and i cant wait to jump back in since release!
I honestly hate how the map remakes are scaled up. Sure, I get that the movement is faster but the scale just feels off. It either feels like everything is too big or you're too small.
Hopefully this all ends up in matchmaking. That big map is what I would love to see the warzone mode from Halo 5 be brought back as. Huge maps with objectives and PvEvP combat. Would be cool for battle royale as well.
Why are WE putting in more effort than the schmucks who made the game? WE shouldn’t have to do this. 343i is going to take all of these maps and throw them into a hastily cobbled together playlist that only has like 2 maps in rotation. Point is, we’re doing their job.
Earth City is such a fun map. It's the closest I've ever felt to having multiplayer and campaign mixed, the flow to the fights as you move from place to place is sooo good. And going on a good old fashioned chase through the streets as someone takes off with the flag feels cool as fuck
seeing the city map, WE NEED WARZONE! with the rumored and leaked Forge AI, this would 100% be possible. Putting hunters or Cheiftains as bosses that gives points. Man. The best would be for 343 to make an official in house gamemode, this way it can actually be used in matchmaking aswell as it being higher quality.
These forge builds look amazing, and as a Halo fan since CE on orginal Xbox, i want to play this game, but i get bored so easily. Its still lacking so much, the social experience is almost non-existant, especially compared to Halo 3, infection is great, but should have been there at launch and is lacking variations like Fat man. We still dont have Grifball, still dont have Firefight, Campaign was great until you beat it then it feels empty and dead and lacks the epic battles Halo campaigs are known for. This game desperately needs a PVE mode, Firefight with Forge compatibility would keep me coming back, getting older i dont enjoy the sweaty aspect of PVP as much anymore, especially considering this Halo feels tryhard more than every other Halo. I love the art style, i love the forge, i love the gunplay, movement, but for the life of me i cannot play more than 10 mins before im burnt out or bored.
Longshore was one of my favorite maps from halo 3! I'm so hyped rn. All of these maps should somehow be fit into the matchmaking line-up. BTB for the larger ones and 4v4/8v8 for the smaller ones.
So I’ve been checking out halo similarly to what hiddenxperia has been doing, checking on the new season and then uninstalling after because they haven’t really been great updates, but recently I’ve been enjoying it a lot more, they updated a lot of the bugs that made it unplayable for me and some other fixes which is good. Now it’s nowhere near as good as it should be but I’ve been enjoying it more recently. Let’s hope it gets much better from here.
Everyone is hyping this game up again so I gave it another try. Game literally froze for 7 seconds 3 games straight. After that it stopped but then I encountered the same ole desync issues that plagued the game since day 1. I play on the series x and have fiber internet (1gb) so it's not my setup. Save your time and sanity, and play something better.

I don't think Earth City is a reference to the TV show. Earth City is the name of the song they used in the Halo 2 E3 trailer, which took place in a big city like this map.
I played with you last night on Halo Infinite and it was incredible. Earth City has to be one of the biggest maps I have ever seen, and the Longshore remake was amazing! Thank you Mint for making all these awesome videos and hosting these lobbies, it truly brings the community together!
5:11 Society if Halo Infinite had released in this state. Jokes aside, the creativity from Forgers lately has been incredible. I'm glad some people have stuck with the game, even if I'm pretty much done with it until AI arrives.
Its kind of scummy mappers don't get paid to make these in Infinite. Valve, Epic, these guys pay modders and mappers, give them opportunities to have their content bought for the game, potential to be hired full time... Never do work for free. Exposure and opportunity alone are not acceptable. 343 has outsourced map creation, one of the most important things for Halo at its core, FOR FREE. I am NOT saying community should pay for it. 343 should as its in their best interests just like Valve does with their games and content. Counter Strike for instance, once Valve started buying maps and hiring mappers the quality went up to 11. Of course there will always be passionate fans, but if you can make 100-200K for a really good map you're going to go all out. The community benefited the most with a ton of new content and great maps with a lot that stuck around, which is very hard to have happen in CS.
Super cool maps, sucks there's no game browser so all that hard work gets to be seen by like 1% of the already diminished playerbase. Even when there's something cool in the game, 343 still can't figure out how to effectively take advantage of it. So glad I dropped this game at launch, what a nightmare.
343 need to add some earnable xp in the forge modes. Even if its capped at a 1/4 the xp you would get in multiplayer, just something to make it rewarding for the rank grind.
These are forge maps, theyre available to download from the customs menu iirc. But there may be a chance for a community spotlight or something to add them to matchmaking.
