Based on the song: The beginning of the film and is where the separation began. He left his wife and two children to go to the United States. The wife lives with her mother-in-law, she was forced to work in a nightclub for her living. The two children dropped out of school. When her husband returned from the U.S., he found out that she is untruthful because she has to work at a nightclub. He had told her that he has a new wife, and this is the last time he will be here to look after his children. She felt brokenhearted, and later committed suicide. The movie has six beautifully dramatic and depressing songs. The songs all were sung by Ros Sereysothea, except one song was sung by Pen Ron.
