These young men have such control over their machines it is just incredible. I'm from the 70's and our bikes just could not even get close to doing such magnificent aerobatics
LOFL.... Twinshock era... Just like me!! 1974-80... My parents owned a Honda and Suzuki shop in the 70's -80's. My first race bike was a TM75.... Coincidently my number was 75... Until another kid started showing up with the same number and usually got signed up before me... My dad took a piece of black electric in front of the 5 and my number from there on was 751... I rode Mini for 3 years.. 74-76... then I went to the 100 class from 76 to 79... and 250 B class 79-81... Table tops were about it... Not near the height or distance that's for sure!!!
I sometimes wonder what evel knievel was thinking as he started dropping from the sky with his front end high realizing he had a full 3 inches of suspension travel smh.
Honestly from me growing up Josh hill does not get enough credit of how truly a bad ass rider he is that will go down in history. He is one of the true thugs and og bad ass riders of all time
Kevin Windham was the king of transfers back in his day. I wonder if he would be interested in making some content with Josh, just riding around hitting booters.....
@@someoneyouknow96 Yeah, you are right, he's not even on Travis Pastrana's caliber! You clearly don't know anything about Travis, he has accomplished a lot in his life and he's still breaking records in different sports! He was the youngest to win the first ever X-Games, and he has the most Gold medals in X-Games history, he raced motocross, rally cross in cars and trucks, and he appeared on the movie Demons Of Dirt Dirty Dozens in 2006! Travis Pastrana is the most widely recognized motocross supercross athlete in X games history! In 1999 he won the inaugural X games freestyle moto X competition, scoring the highest ever run of 99.00 points! He's got 16 X games gold medals, fittingly it was the 1st ever moto x freestyle event in the X games, Pastrana helped to make X games what it is today! And as far as the best motocross racer off all times, that is Ricky Carmichael, he is known as the GOAT 🐐 or the greatest of all time, because in his 11 years as a rider, he managed to dominate the sport with 150 wins in professional competition! Jeremy McGrath is another one who is a GOAT! These are the 5 biggest FMX tricks from red bull X fighters....Thomas Pages, he's pretty much considered the best freestyle motocross rider in the world right now. Danny Torres, Danny Torres has a riding style filled with the same panache of his Spanish forefathers, Josh Shin, Eric Ruiz and Levi Sherwood! There's a lot of great riders out there, but none are as accomplished as Travis Pastrana is, or Ricky Carmichael and Jeremy McGrath in their sport, but Travis Pastrana isn't finished yet, he's still breaking records and accomplishing different sports, and he just came out on top as Rally cross Champion in 2021, and he's the biggest name in motorsports! I found your comment hilarious 😂🤣😋👍
@@someoneyouknow96 oh yeah, and in Supercross, Josh Hill only has 1 win and 11 podiums in his career, which is NOTHING to brag about When it comes to Ricky Carmichael, which in motocross & supercross career history, Carmichael holds the all time record for wins in motocross national championships in AMA competition, he has 150 wins and has never lost an outdoor championship that he competed in! 🙄 🤔🤫😂🤣
Those dune hits are just freaking insane. I don't understand how you can judge how fast to go for those. Sure you can go WFO but that obviously ain't always the answer.
My rule is thumb is not to be the Guinea pig. .. let someone else be. Lol and with dune or pit hucks, usually going long is more forgiving than coming up short ✊ That being said, I’ve still came short on 130ft hit and bruised my nuts black for 3 weeks on the seat bounce of death , soooo 🤷🏻♂️.
Amazing lines and bike control🤘🏻I absolutely love your content. I grew up riding BMX and motocross. Killer to see BMX freestyle lines and such merging into Moto. Dope as hell🤙🏼
love what top class motocross guys bring freeride, we saw it back in the 90s with guys likke McGrath and Pastrana, as nostalgic as I am, I think Josh is my favorite to watch
I think we just found Windhams replacement rider for opening ceremonies. Feld needs to get you back and start doing those crazy ass transfers Windham would do. That would be so sick to have you open up for opening ceremonies.
damn i never seen anyone hit a spot in the dunes and scrub that fuck out of it like a section on a mx track just wide open. this video was fucking sick, you the man Josh!
Awe inspiring riding, the places, the people, the bikes... the stuff of dreams. Glad you get to live it, but not as glad as I'll be when my bikes finally out of the shop! Here's to growing your Channel! Cheers
I’m 100% down to attempt to break the world record. But the money has to be right, it takes some serious preparation, and set up. If you don’t have people willing to invest a million dollars into it, it’s not worth it. And until that deal falls in my lap, I’m happy to leave world records alone.
Ok... So he's just unreal. Amazing how he takes special runs to jump 4x as far as everyone on motocross tracks. 😮 And the sand and field jumps just don't seem real... 🤯
Fabulous places to play you’ve found. I was doing that shit before you were born just on a smaller road legal trail bike. So envious of you lads these days. Great post. That takes me back. Lol.
I can understand with a lifetime of dedication getting as good as they are but what I don't understand is how you can live long enough to get that good?
These guys are awesome but let's not forget to pay homage to the Knievel klan ( both Robbie and his dad Evil) for what they pretty much started, and that was awesome jumps for their day.
Hill, was that your high HP 450 around the 11:50 mark? It sounds pissed and I thought I saw you with a ~80hp bike at one point. I spotted the GET map switch on the bars too so I wondered. Amazing video too, showing all my friends this on our riding trip next weekend!
I think I rode it in a couple clips. A guy in Illinois bought that 80hp and its still set up as a Snowbike after I raced it at the last Winter Xgames Snowbike race.
Flight or flying is the process by which an object moves through a space without contacting any planetary surface. Are you sure is "only" jumping. Lol. Impressive.
Is this the same Josh Hill that jumped 12 feet off the quarter pipe in Minneapolis ? It can't be the same guy. The Josh Hill in this video is Awesome. These jump's are insane.Josh Hill super cross champ right? Well he must have been having a bad night. I'm watching Colby Raha going 31 feet four inches. And Josh Hill is going 12 feet? Something is wrong.I look forward to seeing the next free riding video from Hill.
