Marlon 10 He has an 8 guard on top, so it’s one of the longest guards he has for his clipper and he just runs it against the grain of his hair on top ✂️💪🏽

I taught myself to fade my hair in like 3 weeks. Then I would cut it every 3 days. I would recommend not to do a line if you only have basic trimmers. just start fading with a high clip then go lower. If you mess up it grows back so don't worry. Too bad I went bald so it's just mach3 for me now, but I can still fade other people's hair when they have asked.

Out of all the tutorials, this is by far the best one. Great job. My questions is, when the lever is at half way on the clipper, thats 3/4? And all the way up is at half? All in all great job. I loved the tutori now i juast need the courage to do it lol

When the lever is all the way closed its a zero. When its all the way open, its a half. When he said 3/4 he wasnt talking about clipper size he was just saying the lever is 75% open. The same way that a lever halfway open is 50% open. So if he has a 1 guard and the lever open all the way thats a 1 and a half, if he has the lever 3/4 open thats a little bit less than 1 and a half. If he has the lever halfway open thats less than the 3/4. And thats how fading happens

Just bought $25 worth of equipment (clipper, trimmer, shaver,etc.) I look at it as an investment,by keeping on practicing cutting my own hair until its right instead of paying $25 a month,ill break even in 10 months n I can cut myself 2x a month to have a more fresh cut n to practice. I also recommend assembling a 3way mirror like the ones on RU-vid to help it, costed me $25
