What they are drinking is called Mate, the main ingredient is yerba mate and hot or cold water, then depending on the region it has its variations. It is mainly consumed in Argentina and Uruguay, Milo J and Biza are Argentinian so they have the habit of drinking it. It is a social drink that is why you see them sharing the mate.
BZRP is a record producer! Milo J is a 16 yr old rapper. If you listened to the words (or read) you would know that the kid is definitely not rich! comes from a poor hood in Buenos Aires and he was scammed from $ he was making.... This is his story in music! ---- the thing about the teeth is that in Latin America it is a luxury to get your teeth fixed and it's a sign that you made it when you have them done! --- Mate is a tea!!! (you keep adding hot water to it and keep drinking)...
When he said “bad life on my teeth” is because some drugs destroys your mounth, so it’s like a scar on your teeth. That’s what i interpret with his lyrics. 😅
@@MrsKafkianahe said “ bad life on my teeth” as a metaphor triying to say that he lived a bad life, he was poor and lived in a bad place with gangs, he don’t like drugs
One fact, when he talks about that he got stolen is because he made a hit of 400 million of listenings, and the place he made it for stole all the money the music produced, and he beefed with them in song so people knew it, the name of the song stolen is called “rara vez”
@@camilabattistessa6142 igual bits es una cosa totalmente distinta que tiene que ver con el almacenamiento de datos, pero bueno, creo q es sarcasmo pero si no lo es gracias jssjdnk
Argentina is a lemon exporting country, many of us in Argentina have lemon trees in our garden. Haha. And Milo J is the singer, and Bizarrap is the producer. Good video guys. Saludos from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
For context, Bizarrap is an argentinian super-producer. He makes the beats, gets in touch with the artists, produces the songs and releases them, like a DJ Khaled but talented. In the spanish speaking industry, having a session with Bizarrap means you made it.
BAD LIFE ON MY TEETH can be interpreted like you said. But it also has to do with social class and being in a good economic situation. Dentists are very expensive over here (and wverywhere , i believe) and not everybody can pay for it. You can see that ppl's life is economically good if they can afford a good dentist... He's talking deep. He's only 16 and by his lyrics, you can tell that life hasn't always been easy. Milo J
8:54 “bad life on my teeth” it’s about you can see his life reflected on his teeth, when you smoke a lot or you drink a lot, your teeth start getting yellow or start looking bad, that’s what he mean.😚
About the teeth what I understood from the context is because he had the bad life very close (between the teeth) but he had another plan and moved away from that. (bad life in the teeth could also refer to cigarettes but I don't know.) Good reaction, greetings from Argentina
24:05 hi guys, that's a "mate" and contain yerba (is a natural infusion from Yerba Mate plant). Is an a typically infusion by Argentina, Paraguay, Brazil and Uruguay. In Argentina we drinking Mate all days (and all day 😁).
Bro, I’m from Guatemala and I know English and Spanish, but I never thought that Spanish music could go that far, and I felt good as a Latino, damn it, it’s crazy and thank you for making that video, and that herbal tea is called mate it’s normal in Argentina 🇦🇷
Great reaction! What he's drinking is called Yerba Mate or just Mate. It's an infusion like tea, but it's properties are very similar to coffee. It's very popular in Latin America, especially in Argentina and Uruguay.
Not at all! You can take care of your teeth for free if you want, people from all south America came to Argentina since we have free medical care and it's the bes of the continent. He say that because he is talking about cocaine and pasta base
When he talks about teeth, for me he refers to the damage that paco (which is similar to crack) produces on the teeth. All their teeth are broken among other things.
The Argentines have a lot of talent, from Messi to Favaloro, from Borges to Bzrp, but what makes all these geniuses shine is the power of their unified and proud community.
i liked your comment up until the ¨unified¨ community. We are proud, for sure, but we cant grow as a community thanks to the FACHOS DEL ORTO. Saludos desde argentina. Te agradezco por nombrar a Favaloro, de verdad.
I took the "bad life on my teeth" line as in "I've been seeing this bad life up close, so close I could almost taste it in my mouth and teeth but I had a different plan" 🤷🏻♂️ this kid is soooo full of bars, it's not easy to catch them all! 🔥🔥 "God called me from downtown" reminds me of Drake pen style fs 👏🏻🔥
I thought the same, but if you realize Milo's teeth are not perfect, he may have been bullied when he was little, and then the rhyme if it goes there, who knows
The part where it says "Bad life in the teeth" in Toy en el Mic is a parallell to how young people in Argentina tend to consume drugs at young ages in poverty.
First of all, very good video, I love your reactions in real time, now, what you mean by "bad life in the teeth" is that (at least here in Argentina) the kids who take drugs and are very young, They take the paco (waste from the creation of coke) or the same cocaine, rubbing it on their teeth, in addition to referring to the fact that they always despised him for his teeth, also, in the first song, he says NOW EL NEGRO CATINGA SINGS TO YOU, referring to the same thing, they criticized him for being black and supposedly ugly, greetings from Argentina
The part that he say "ahora el negro catinga te canta" translate it like "now the stinky nigga sings you" hahah But in te subtitles just translate like "bro"
Toy en el mic = I'm on the microphone No soy eterno = I am not eternal Fruto = Fruit Penas de antaño = Sorrows of yesteryear Argentina está en la casa 🇦🇷
***PROVE ME IF I AM WRONG*** ok I have figured out the meaning of "Y ahora 'toy en el mic (So now I am on the mic) Paco y cocaine, ese no es el huss (Crack and cocaine ain't the husstle) (Huss is short for hussle) Pero estuve al la'o siempre (But i have always been around - as in people around him do it probably because hes is from a poor city but loves his city regardless) Vida mala en los dientes, pero tuve otro plan" (i had bad luck in life, but i had another plan, in other word his music) So he is referring to the drug crisis in his town and how he had other plans than to stay stuck in the vice of the poor life because he was born with "bad teeth", in other words bad luck early in life. I agree that he might have also added a double meaning that drugs are bad for your teeth and he cant afford to ruin them. The verse is so deep that i feel like it gets overlooked pretty easily. I hope this makes sense guys!
Bad life on my teeth actually means that he always was around a bad environment. He grow up poor,in a pretty bad neighborhood in Argentina, but in that songs hes saying that he choose the mic, the music, over all the bad life that he had around him.
what he means when he says bad life on my teeth , is that when you do too much drugs, such as the ones he mentions like crack and cocaine, it affects your mouth helath
9:00 "Bad life on my teeth" I think it may refer to the fact that he came from a lower class life (bc his unkempt teeth), "but I have a different plan" but despite his beginnings, he chose another life. He will always have his bad teeth, but his life is different now. Sometimes, when people see that you have bad teeth or a specific vocabulary, they have the prejudice that you have a bad life or come from a bad place, right? I think that's what he's referring to.
Thanks for reacting latinoamerican music, you help it grow. Next time you listen music from other countries you may search information about the culture or listen it with someone from that country because in that way you will understand the jargon and references. In these songs particularly Milo J and BZRP use a lot of words and expressions that are very typical of Argentina that maybe doesn’t have a literally translation in English and you couldn’t understand 100% the song. Again, thank you for reacting!!
bad life on my teeth makes reference to how crackheads and cokeheads end up with their teeth banged up. that's why he says "crack and cocaine that's not my huss, but I have always been right next to it: bad life on my teeth, but I had a different plan"
My interpretation of "have bad life in my teeth" is because when you are poor you can afford the dentist to fix them. He came from a humble and dangerous neighboor
