@@tamantije2463 If you're starting out, I'd recommend Vindicator. I have a video on it from awhile back that's still relevant if you're curious.

you need to do weapon master quest. "The player will receive a letter in the mail from Frode early on in the third chapter of Secrets of the Obscure story, Mother of Stars. Speak with Frode in the Beacon of Ages Command Center to unlock Weaponmaster Training account-wide."

No block and 1 shot mechanic ruined the game.

Double sword is single target mainly. It’s cleave isn’t Amazing

In pve it’s completely free to choose which one you prefer They do comparable dps while having different flavor In wvw the block of course is nice on GS plus except autoattack (target 3) the rest of the abilities have 5 target SwSw is 3 targets only but it has a shadowstep, immobilize & chill which has value in itself And the 3 is a longer evade Its definitely not bad but many just enjoy GS more

I play herald as an assassin, bursting down enemies with opportunity. Double swords are definitely better for this. But greatsword shines in group play.

I guess thats why I'm not actually a fan of Greatsword on Rev. I just don't like it. I prefer twin swords.

Vindicator actually makes hammer feel really good again. Hopefully these buffs tomorrow will be great 👍
